Finishers For Extra Boosting

Lately I've been getting into Finishers for my workouts or use the day after to help accelerate fat loss. Finishers are micro workouts you can do after your main one to boost extra fat loss or amp up your conditioning. During my sprint and Darebee days I would pick a little something that sounds exciting to me and do up to 10 min. or so to really hit the Spot. Granted some are crazy but if you want to get a little more juice this would be it.

You don't have to do these at the end of your workouts, they can be used for next day extras or when you only have a few minutes of your day. They can cook you and depending on what you do, can be a little out there. Now some of these are not for beginners because they're very intense. I'm not big on trends like you have read on but I do like training systems with certain themes attached to them; mainly superheroes. It just gives that added motivation and triggering of the brain that just boosts confidence and fun times. These bad boys are no more than a few minutes and you can either do it in a circuit or in a tabata style workout where you do something for 20 sec. and 10 sec. o rest time. Go for time or just see how many rounds you can do.

One of my favorites is one called Legs Like Ms. Marvel where you guessed it its all leg work (and don't be laughing just because its a chick workout, my legs were dying at the end of it). Here's how it goes.....

Its a 20/10 Protocol and you go for 8 minutes.

Lateral Side Jumps, Ice Skaters, Squat Hold & Split Squat (20 sec. each leg) its only 4 exercises but you're resting 10 seconds at a time and trust me it ain't easy.

There's a whole course devoured in Finishers that goes well for beginners and hardcore maniacs. It's by a guy named Mike Whitfield called Workout Finishers. Imagine getting that little jolt of testosterone after a great workout at the gym or getting in some good no BS training if you're strapped for time. Do workouts in as little as 3 minutes. My biggest one was no more than 10 1/2 minutes. Get a good session in and then hit those last 3 minutes like a beast. Ladies this sheds fat like a cheese-grader and if you want to tone up and need that boost after putting in some work at the gym or at a park wherever you may be at. What can 3 minutes really harm huh? This would be great to do if you're on vacation and want to get in a quick workout before taking in the sites or jumping into the lake or the pool. Make it fun and remember, its fast and intense but so worth it. Don't do these everyday, do them at the end of some workouts or the next day to make up for something. When I was doing my sprints I would do a finisher at the end and that was only 3x a week.

Hit it hard and make that fat scream bloody murder.

Funtastic Conditioning

When you have an imagination, you want to make it useful and open things up to bring in opportunities to showcase your mind on a physical level. I feel bad for those poor souls who do very and utterly tedious & worst of all boring exercise programs. Some of the exercises are great but a lot want to treat it as the hardcore no pain no gain crap. To me; exercise is about emotion, bringing in your entire being into a series of movements or holds that turn you into a machine full of passion and the willingness to go for more.

I've seen many dread going to the gym or seeing the latest trend and think its going to make them happy. They're only motivation is what everyone else is doing. Not me brother, trends are temporarily objectives that don't belong in many areas. I believe going outside the trends, creating ideals that are inspired by programs that I personally enjoy. My workouts are emotional, content and lust for awesomness. My training these days is doing High Intensity or a great level of intense cardio with a finisher that blasts my body big time. Although they're a bit nuts I find them fun and exciting. That's what training is suppose to really be. The pink dumbbells and isolated machinery most of the time when it comes to conditioning is completely useless.

What you can get truly out of training with excitement and adventure is endless without boundaries or rules & certainly can do stuff only you decide to do. Granted I believe in coaching but it's the right kind of coaching; I teach others how to have fun in their workouts and share with them the value of kicking ass while having a good time. If you train for complete seriousness and no emotions you're either a freaking robot or your soul is corrupt. With the many ways you can adapt your training its crazy to think you'd get bored but yet people do and its a damn shame. I'm not saying be all ditzy and act like you don't care, train like your life depended on it but use your imagination. Build scenarios, create an environment and see in your mind what you're training and put it into action. When I do my hammer workouts, I pretend i'm taking out the toughest form of rubber and steel with this massive hammer and hitting the tire as if I was in the land of the frost giants with Thor going into battle. When I do certain bodyweight exercises like Burpees or step-ups, I pretend i'm in Indiana Jones, running up steps with whip and ducking and dodging boulders or those boobie traps in Last Crusade.

When I play with the Sandbell, I imagine making the earth quake every time I slam it, create an imaginary circular shield around my body when I do the 360 exercise or whatever else. The greater you can put your imagination into your training the greater your results will be. My girl's favorite bodyweight workout is called The Harley Quinn. I can just imagine her kicking ass in that awesome outfit taking out baddies with the Suicide Squad or finally sticking against her former "puddin" (If you know who this is kudos to you). Our greatest ally is our imagination but not many people use it. A lot of trainers want to suppress this beautiful entity because they want you doing things their way and anything you do just beneath them. You are an amazing bad ass underneath; unleash that little by little. When I started out, I was more of a superhero's assistant's assistant, learning the ropes and not knowing a damn thing; climbing that ladder step by step. If you're willing to put in the effort you can go far, how far is up to you.

Train hard, condition up and have a lot of fun guys.

Extreme Cardio For Fat Burning

When it comes down to it, modern day version of cardio is most of the time is pure crap. When it comes to fat burning it rarely if ever really does anything that is worth its time. Cardio to most people is spending 30 minutes or more on a treadmill at a moderate pace that is either walking or jogging. Sure you burn a few calories but you also lose muscle mass and store more fat than you want to believe. To truly take off fat like you would take off a t-shirt, you have to be very intense and short.

When you're jogging at a moderate pace your heart rate goes up a little but stays there for as long as possible in the long time to keep it there. That's great for endurance training but you're getting one shred of realistic muscle from doing this. Having a good glimpse of lean muscle mass goes a long way to increase your metabolism, athletic stamina and filling your lungs with powerful oxygen. When I say muscle mass i'm not talking bulky and grotesque looking like a bodybuilder but more of a classic muscular man pre-1970's. Cardio is good for a few reasons but to truly build insane lung power you need to up the ante.

Extreme cardio is purely blowing up your heart rate to a level where you're huffing and puffing in a matter of seconds instead of minutes that's where fat burning comes into play because your oxygen levels need more blood to pump through the heart and other vessels of the central nervous system. When you do short bursts you're installing those hormones that burn calories like a flame to gasoline. That's why I love developing my style of the Superhero Sprints Program. It's purpose is to keep your workouts short and sweet to where you're basically resting more than working and the reason is because every fiber in your body is taken to optimum levels. Workouts at a great clip are no more than 20-25 minutes, when you add a finisher no more than 35 minutes total of high intensity interval training. When you train cardio for 60 minutes or more at a moderate pace your strength and muscle diminish but you still have your stamina yet build up a level of flab. When you train crazy hard on Superhero Style Training, you're decreasing fat, improving both strength & stamina and you pack on natural and lean muscle.

This style of training is no more than 3x a week because of the need of the muscles and tendons to recover from an insane session. It has been proven from experiments around the country and parts of Europe where HIT is the best way to improve muscle and burn off fat the fastest way possible. I have been studying and testing things out for over 18 years (everyday in the last 10+) and I have no other method to increase growth hormone and metabolic conditioning than HIT Style fitness. That's why I enjoy the workouts I do because I get to eat what I can to fuel up and i'm still burning calories hours after the workout barely doing anything. The basics of Superhero Fitness is doing 5 Sprints (8 if you're outdoors), a circuit & (if you're willing to go even further) a finisher that's roughly no more than 10 minutes. Take a look at the program and see what I mean, there's all kinds of exercises to choose from both weighted and bodyweight, a beginners program, indoor and outdoor training plus training on Supersets. This truly is one of the best courses I've ever come across.

This isn't some rinky-dink training where you go very slow and do little jogs, this is high levels of training that is meant to increase your fitness and building a realistic muscular/lean physique with the purpose of being able to eat enough to fuel up, drink plenty of water and taking a rest day and that could be a walk in the park, hike, swimming whatever you want to stay active but to a level of degree.

Share What You Love & Possibly Get Paid For It

I was always taught if you do a good job and work hard you'll be rewarded. Well I bounced around a couple jobs in my life and did what I could but never could be proud of what I was doing. I had short stints as a janitor, helping out giving people massages, made $100 helping a family friend and chopping wood a time or two but nothing was compared to working just by sharing my favorite things of fitness and on Amazon. I felt at ease doing this kind of work because it naturally came easy to me. I can create my own hours, gave me the opportunity to enhance my creativity by writing and making funny memes and posting on places like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr and forums.

This is what has helped me buy the things I wanted and use to save up for things later on plus getting food and sharing a part of the rent. This has become my main source of income and although I do some things from time to time even if it's getting paid to help out this is what made me a hard worker. I have signed on with various fitness companies that hold dear to my heart because they got a ton of stuff that I personally believe in and have used a lot of their stuff to enhance my strength, endurance & flexibility. The most recent place I signed up where the Fee was decent and not freaking ridiculous was becoming an Advocare Distributor.

I'm not giving you a get rich scheme or places where it's phony bullshit. You get out of what you put into it and things vary from a couple bucks to hitting more than few hundred dollars in commission. I'll give you a personal list of places to sign up as an affiliate where you can have your own link and share cool stuff like books, Cd's, Courses, Equipment, PDF's and way more. Share with your friends and family; be creative and let your mind learn new things that you can come up with. You've seen what I do so what makes you think you can't do the same in your own way. For me I don't plan on becoming a mult-millionaire, if it happens its because it was meant to happen but for now I'm happy where i'm at and I want to get better and learn from others on what I can do to adapt to my style. For you, it might be different and you want some extra cash to put in for a college fund, put a kid's favorite cereal on the table, buy a prom dress for your daughter, get a commission and use it to save up for a Playstation 4 or XBOX; there are so many possible ways to do it and reasons for it.

My personal reasons for being in this line of work and making time for it is to save up to go to Disneyland with my girlfriend, save up to get a place of our own, buy my mom a house one day, get foods I like to keep me fueled up from training hard and most importantly is to share the awesomeness of the things I have used and knew of people who use them. Here is a list of places to sign up and get familiar with......

Rogue Fitness

Onnit

Clickbank

Dragon Door

Amazon

There you have it. One of the great benefits Amazon provides is you creating your own store. How cool is that to pick what you want to promote and spread it around the net. One thing that can be very useful when you're an affiliate is to shorten links so customers don't have to type or copy and paste so much. This is where I like to use the site Tiny URL to help with my personal links. Do whatever you find creative to get people to go to your direct links and share with them why you like a product or specific type. Make it work for you. Whether you want to do this as a weekend thing, part time or full time it's your choice. Learn what people like and make it creative for them to look at what you are sharing with them.

Don't get discouraged if the dough doesn't roll in right away. My first paycheck as an affiliate was just over $10. Over time things started adding up and I was racking in a few hundred dollars here and there, to this day I made money well into the THOUSANDS and it's still growing. One of my biggest pay days was getting a commission of $250 off of ticket someone bought for a Strongman Seminar. There are limitless possibilities and I want you to do what you can even if it's worth getting a paycheck to get groceries for your family for the week. Grow a network and have other sign up so they can join you; those are called Subaffiliates where they work under you and you can get paid from some of the work they do. Create opportunities and grow.

My Current Training Program

I love posting about certain things like my philosophy on training or life, my favorite products, what I consider good or bad in fitness and keeping you thinking and laughing from time to time but I rarely talk about my actual training. Mostly the reason I don't talk about it directly on the blog is because I don't always know what I'm doing on a particular day. For the last few weeks I've created my own training "routine" that is based on a few different ideals mixed together inspired by a course I can't stop loving. I'm currently training to lose fat and build leaner muscle based on the program Superhero Sprints.

I'm currently 9 Workouts in doing this and the last few workouts have added a Finisher of different styles whether it's circuit training, tabata, animal, Kettlebells, Sandbell or whatever. Although it's inspired by the course, I came up with a few tweaks to make it to my liking. Here is how it goes.....5 Sprints (30 Sec. Each), 4 Circuits of 3-9 exercises and a Finisher of 1-9 exercises for rounds or time. No matter what I do with this thing it always comes out brutal and somewhat out there but it seems to be working. It's done 3 times a week and on days off I mostly stretch doing something fun or recovering using DDP Yoga or Animal Flow. It's a good balance and i'm seeing quite a number of results including muscle definition in my abs, chest, calves and back, gives me a ton of calories to burn and it really cranks up my appetite for fuel. One night at Applebees I had more than 3,000 calories in a sitting because my body needed fuel so I had a burger, fries and a very large oriental crispy chicken salad. Not the best meal but come on man a guy's got to eat.

Designing workouts inspired by courses is a passion of mine plus it gives me a chance to develop my own style of intensity; although always high I sometimes shift the number or order of exercises around to get rid of boredom. Here is a workout that really kicked my ass on Monday......

5 Sprints

4 Circuits: 20 Climbers, 10 Lateral Jumps, 10 Push-ups & 10 Burpees

Finisher: One round of the Darebee Chapter 1 Workout (took about 3 min. to complete)

That was freaking insane and I needed plenty of fuel just to even feel satisfied. I had a Post Workout Smoothie with Banana & Goat's Milk then not too long after, went to a restaurant and grabbed a nice bowl of salad with blue cheese dressing, a crispy chicken sandwich and some fries. Again not great but I needed food. I'm actually losing fat even with a below average good eating habit and building muscle. Not too shabby it's helping in the testosterone department. Thought I'd share that with you today and i'll keep you posted on my progress and you all have a great hump day.

Reminder: I'm giving away ***FREE** workouts and meal plans to give you something extra for the purchase of an advocare product. The meal plans I will send out to you with the purchase of the 24-Day Challenge and help you along your journey feel more at ease. Order today and get some cool stuff personally from me.

My New Year's Gift To You

Welcome to a new week guys. We've been in the New Year almost a couple weeks now and it's been crazy. Training like a maniac, writing about all kinds of products and sharing with the world why I believe they're bad ass. I'm even playing around with various ideas to help customers achieve their goals. This isn't a resolution to me but more of something to push forward and experiment with.

One of things you may have noticed throughout my articles and promotions throughout social media is Advocare products. Whether you buy them or not that's your choice, all I do is share a few benefits and give you an opportunity to check them out and see if they work for you. However, I want to do more than just show you how awesome they are, I want you to really succeed in your goals. In that manner I want to do something different and something I think you'll get a kick out of. Here's my gift to you: Whenever you purchase a product from Advocare, I will call/text you not only to thank you but ask what specific goals you're looking into and whatever you come up with I will personally send you 1-5 Workouts for you to do at home that is within those goals; either ones I have found or created myself.

You deserve to rock it in your journey and as a fitness enthusiast myself, I want the best I can find that makes it interesting and outside the box. This is something I feel and believe is my duty to go that extra mile for you and help you in your journey as much as I can. Not everyone will do this and I've always had a knack for going outside the box. I want to go beyond a product and help you as if I was training you myself. You are important and want you to know that. What do you say? You in?

Super Man Herbs

When you get outside the box you run into some interesting things.

Conventional methods of working out just don’t work very well. But so many people, hopefully yourself included, have gotten great results when they tried something a little different.

When it comes to health it’s the same thing. The public health model has some obvious flaws. Following the USDA’s food pyramid and taking pharmaceuticals (did you know the average American is on at least one?) is not giving people great health.

Although people claim that our life spans are longer than ever, if you actually account for things like public sanitation they really haven’t improved much since ancient times.

But there is a different way…

Did you know that ancient Chinese doctors were paid when they’re clients were healthy and not when they’re sick? That’s because if the person was sick the doctor wasn’t doing his job in preventing illness.

In fact, from the Chinese Daoist tradition you have the concept of “Radiant Health”. This is health beyond danger. This means you’re body is running in such an optimal way that you can’t become sick. Think about that.

Zero illness.

And that’s not all. Generally health is looked at as the absence of disease, but that’s just focusing on the negative. What if you had such abundant energy that you could work tirelessly each day, and turn your life into how you want it to be?

What if there was no struggle in doing the things you know you should be doing?

Eating the right foods, living a healthy lifestyle, and dealing with the stresses of modern day living are all important towards this aim.

But there is a “secret weapon”.
https://jt231.isrefer.com/go/supermanherbs/bennyb84

For the average person if you become sick you go to the doctor and get medication for it.

Even if you turn to the alternative health world, it’s the same flawed model. Got a problem? Then take these supplements or herbs. Or follow this method to fix yourself.

But what if you desire to achieve Radiant Health? There is a certain class of “Superior Herbs” that do this for you. With their adaptogenic properties they can work intelligently with your body to increase your health regardless of where you’re currently at. And they do this in a powerful way.

https://jt231.isrefer.com/go/supermanherbs/bennyb84

Many people look at these as their secret weapon, the thing that gives them the extra 10% they need out of life.

And I want to point you to a great resource on these herbs. Not just where you can grab them, but learning a whole lot more on what they can do for you.

Its called Super Man Herbs (and no its not just for men, these are equally great for women too).

Is it Disgusting...Or a Secret Weapon?

Everyone has heard of Ginseng.

In Chinese medicine it is the most well known in the class of superior herbs.

Unfortunately the majority of it that is sold in convenience stores and even health food stores is worthless crap, or even harmful.

You see, ginseng must reach 3 years of age in order to be considered mature and worth taking.

And to get the good stuff you need to pay top dollar.

And when I say top dollar I mean it. A recent 1000 years old ginseng root was sold off for $1000000 dollars!

In Chinese medicine, ginseng is considered a Qi tonic in how it can give you energy. Good quality ginseng won’t give you a rush and a crash like caffeine might but a smooth even feeling that can even help support your health.

Although it is considered one of the best Qi tonics there is actually something even better.

While ginseng is considered “The King of Herbs”, this one is known as “The Herb of Kings”!

Some people have said it is disgusting, but a number of people taking this consider it one of their secret weapons.

Find out what it is here.

My Review On Nighttime Recovery

As a consistent trainee, I practice many forms of training everyday and have been doing it for over 10 years. I believe in being able to stay in top shape whether for 5 minutes or 60 minutes and just as important I want to recover just as amazingly. Some of things I have taken have worked for me, some haven't.

I gave the Advocare Nighttime Recovery a shot and I got awesome results from it. Granted according to the bottle I had to take more than most but that's ok. I'm use to that and it was different. Because of the training I was doing I only took them 3x a week when I was doing my most hardcore workouts. They have a weight system for how many an individual should take. Because I was 40 pounds beyond the normal dosage for a 210 pound man I only took 5. There were only 60 capsules and I was taking 15 a week give and take taking some time off for a week. The only drawback is that if you do several months of training or in a professional setting where recovery is extremely critical you're going to need more than one bottle.

More on the positive side, the capsules really target the muscles that you need for recovery and while you sleep it really takes charge and repairs those muscles with a freaking vengeance. I felt amazing everytime I woke up. Refreshed and ready to go. I was always at my best and it really helped with my endurance. I just might go back to them sooner than I expected. I love being able to be at my best every workout and when it comes to the most intense ones, it's even more awesome. Since the Performance Elite Line has more than one product to use for recovery there are other options.

Overall, an 8 out of 10 for this product. If you're looking for kick ass recovery this is one of the things that will do it for you. You would get a kick out of this bad boy and look out for my next review for the Post-Workout Recovery Shake.

Getting Superhero Fit For Under $10

Happy New Year Everyone,

Welcome to 2016 and hopefully you're kicking ass starting off right and keeping it consistent. First off I really can't stand New Years Resolutions because let's face it, it's a bunch of gibberish on saying whatever you're going to do and end up quitting a couple weeks in. Why do that to yourself? Go for New Years Goals by starting something small and building yourself up. Too many people go into it with way too high expectations and think they'll be able to handle it. I'm already starting 2016 off right with being down 6 pounds, eating a bit healthier little by little, taking amazing vitamins and got some new stuff coming in from my brothers and sisters at Advocare and my training is back with the Superhero Sprints.

Speaking of the Superhero Sprints; you get a ton of info on it that doesn't happen a lot with other courses, not to mention it's one of the cheapest courses out there (That does not mean it doesn't have value). For less than the cost of a monthly membership at a Planet Fitness you can learn about one of the most effective fat burning systems ever created and do so no more than 3x a week. Fat loss has been an issue for many people but that's basically due to poor eating habits and not doing the right kind of exercise. Regular cardio is no where near the level this course has and i'll tell you why...Because with cardio you're going at a certain pace to keep your heart rate at a level that is suitable to a training session of about 30 straight minutes or more. This is what manufacturers want you to believe that this is the key to fat loss but in reality you have been fed full of Bullshit that is taking away your hard earned money. I'm not saying Cardio doesn't do anything it does wonders in a lot of ways but not what you need to get down to the nitty gritty of fast paced intensity that will shed fat, build muscle and increase metabolism all in one major shot.

I don't just want you to get insanely fit fast but save a shitload of money in the process. So just because i'm in a good mood starting tomorrow I'm holding a freebie month of awesomeness. If you order this course personally from me and letting me know you have ordered it, I will personally send you a secret link to 12 EXTRA WORKOUTS that are the next level of Superhero Sprints Training. This course will have you destroying fat so hard it'll sound like the wicked witch of the west will be screaming bloody murder. I want you to be in the best shape possible and have a new you dominate this year. Are you in? LET'S DO THIS!!!!

Unleash Your Inner Superhero

There are real superheroes out there. Those with great minds, physical attributes, resistance to certain illnesses & disease, people in the Polar Bear Club (Those that can withstand extremely cold temperatures & water), Athletes & so much more. We love reading about awesome men and women in comic books. Favorites of mine are Thor, Captain America, Moon Knight, Batman, Harley Quinn, Dr. Strange and others. We get inspired by not just their abilities but by their unbelievable tenacity to scrape through obstacles, every day challenges and understanding some of their tragedies.

My superheroes in the real world are those that help people regardless of themselves and make it their mission to see how they can get fit, be humble, fight back and teach how to treat others. I was bullied like many kids back in the day, my hideaway was watching Pro Wrestling, the Power Rangers and watching heroes like Blade, the X-Men, Batman & Superman. I wanted to be strong so I can teach those that wronged me because of either my disability from the Meningitis or because I was a chubby kid. I was never able to run anything good on a 40 yard blast, bench press 500 pounds, swing through buildings or even jump like Michael Jordan but I did learn how to unleash my inner hero not just physically but mentally; writing about amazing things, sharing my knowledge with the world what I've learned and help them find their innerselves.

When it comes to training for those that don't know I love making things fun and interesting. Recently I've had to make some changes in my training to boost areas within my body that have been low for quite some time. I had a physical done for the first time in well over a decade and some blood work; only 3 negative things came up out of thousands of potential problems and I feel lucky that it's only three things....I have high blood pressure (which runs in my family), a low thyroid (another version of low metabolism) & low good cholesterol. I'm not highly concerned on these things because I know and was told overall i'm pretty damn healthy but I do know I need to make some changes; small ones mostly. I'm using various supplements to help with my metabolism, slowly cutting out bad carbs, processed sugar & breads & training like a Superhero, mainly going back to what burns off bodyfat and builds lean muscle and that's the Superhero Sprints.

The Superhero Sprints System will be my go to training for a while and see where it leads me. Not going to do those lame cardio workouts and move on machinery but do realistic heart pumping and fat burning powerhouse exercises 2-3x a week and on "days off" do some playful movement, walking, MovNat or whatever comes into my head. I want to open up that door again to lean down and drop bodyfat to have that true powerhouse build. Changing The Tune For A Better Sound

In music, the same song can be used in a variety of ways. Sometimes it sounds amazing, other times its pretty terrible. Same can be said about training; you can do the same exercises but changing the tempo, direction or mixing the order can turn it into a completely different workout. For the past few weeks or so I was raving about Animal Exercises but things have changed and need to do something else. Still kicking ass just in another format.

I was getting burnt out and had my eye on other things to do. Thought I'd focus on another form of Animal Training; Animal Flow. Still moving like a wild beast but more free spirited so do speak. Moving and just adapting from one thing to another and using your body in all sorts of directions.

Being consistent is key but also keeping your mind focused and adapting when you need to. Don't get me wrong, I love a good routine (when my mind and body can do it) but if your mindset isn't there and you do the best you can, you can end up hurting yourself or you don't have it in you anymore because you keep repeating things, that's when it's time to tune up the band. Becoming fit is not always how long you can go or staying with the same routine; it's about adapting, keeping your mind fresh so your body will flow through and take charge of your program. There are so many ways to train. This is my path for the moment and when I feel I need a change, it will happen when it's meant to happen.

There are people in this world who listens to the same songs over and over because that comforts them and although not very much music is that great today there are still some that sound amazing and breathtaking. Same about exercise, some like to do the same thing over and over again but never really get anywhere because they're not willing to change and adapt that could in fact make it better for them. Just like music; exercise is about emotion, being physical and bringing that fire and passion within your soul out and utilizing every muscle within you to get the very best out of yourself. When that fire starts to die out, it can be lethal and you'll lose a sense of yourself that can be difficult to come back from. When you're ready, you'll come back to that area but until then, feel things out, see where certain things lead and follow what works.

Powerful Nutrition For Elite Performance

For all athletes and those that want to be in better shape it's always good to know that when you perform better, your body becomes better. This isn't to say to get bigger, stronger and faster every single session. Some people are just hardcore that way but for others; it's immensely important to perform at a consistency with a hint of progressing little by little.

Nutrition is valuable to any kind of activity or a high reason to be in amazing health. There are many ways to develop the body using quality nutrition; I'm still learning this myself and been in fitness consistently for over 10 years (off and on a total of nearly 20). Although high quality natural foods like veggies, fruits, eggs, lean meats and plant based foods is at a sky high level; sometimes you may need other things that really hit into those cellular walls of the Blood Cells and going in deeper than you normally would from other forms of nutrition. Supplementation has shown to help hit those walls hard and give you the energy, recovery and muscle building entities to perform at your best.

Not all supplements are created equal so it's important to really dig into what you want to get yourself into if supplementation is your current route. I use supplements in conjunction with food I need to fuel my body the way I would like it too. Although i'm not the biggest on being a health nut because after all i'am human and I have my little vices but I don't go to a McDonald's everyday or hit up a bucket of KFC to satisfy my hunger; I do eat fast foods from time to time like Panda Express, Subway, Chinese Buffets and stuff of that sorts but I catch myself and eat foods that are pretty well in tact most of the time like Juicing my fruits & veggies, cook Bison Burgers, have scrambled eggs, drink Goats Milk plus some good chicken thighs to make sandwiches or healthy tacos with. When it comes to supplements my biggest beliefs are in Advocare & Superman Herbs.

The Performance Elite Line at Advocare bring out that true high quality nutrition in their muscle building, recovery and fueling bars help hit those cell walls that really target what they are meant to hit. Superman Herbs are a top of the line set of powders, tinctures and herbs that go beyond hitting the cell walls and bask in more nutrients than you can possibly imagine. The only drawback is the taste; some can take it, some can't and others like me put these herbs in smoothies rather than go completely Raw. That's ok, you do what works best for you. Whether it's pre-workout, post-workout or just fueling up before a game, its a powerful remembrance to get the nutrition you need. The Supplements at Superman Herbs are some of the most powerful on the planet and it's all broken down from nature itself. Since I have better taste buds for Advocare Supplements that's my biggest thing at the moment. My structured form of nutrition through the Performance line is to use energy & post-workout recovery nutrition because my muscles are already showing and don't need to fill out more than I have to, that works for me.

These are my top 2 picks for better performance nutrition. I like other stuff too that I take but these take the cake and there's even cherry somewhere in there. I really love this stuff and have kicked ass in my own line of training from using them. I believe in what they can do not just from my experiences but from hundreds maybe thousands of others. What would you go with? Personally, just flip a coin and run with it; either way you'll be amazed at the benefits that is within one or the other. A win-win.

Throw Away Your Pre-Workout Supplements For Hercules Formula

Have you heard of Jack3d? It promises to “boost pumps“ and have “bloat-free micro technology”. I’m not even sure what that last statement means nor how it takes technology to not cause bloating.

I just took a look at some of the Amazon reviews for this product. The comments are shocking.

“This stuff will jack you up alright and not in a good way!”

“Buyer beware. following multiple deaths and hundreds of people sickened, including solders dropping dead in their 20's after taking jack3d, the FDA banned DMAA. this company illegally continued to use it in their formulation for over a year, until the FDA was forced to seize the product.”

“Immediately after taking this, I began feeling weird. The first day, about an hour after my workout, I thought I was having a stroke.”

I’m not saying that this stuff doesn’t work. There are lots of positive reviews on there as well. But do you really want to take something created to jack you up?

The question is what is this doing for your health? Is it improving it or degrading it?

My guess is that with the “CNS Contractile Stimulant System™” (Yes, that is listed on the nutrition label), you may be doing much more harm then good.

Add in a bunch of fake flavorings and artificial flavors and who knows what you’re really ingesting?

The Center for Science in the Public Interest released a report in 2010 discussing food dyes. Here’s a few excerpts:

Blue 2 cannot be considered safe given the statistically significant incidence of tumors, particularly brain gliomas, in male rats. It should not be used in foods.

Red 40, the most-widely used dye, may accelerate the appearance of immune-system tumors in mice.

Yellow 5 causes sometimes-severe hypersensitivity reactions in a small number of people and might trigger hyperactivity and other behavioral effects in children. Posing some risks, while serving no nutritional or safety purpose, Yellow 5 should not be allowed in foods.

And there’s much more. Lest, you think this is alarmist information, the fact is that the FDA had a split decision on requiring side effects labels on food products containing these. It was narrowly defeated which is amazing when you consider the industry ties the FDA has with chemical producing corporations.

Look no further than European countries where many of these chemicals are illegal to use.

When it comes to artificial flavors (and natural flavors are pretty much the exact same thing) have been reports to contribute to allergies, cancer, nervous system depression, dizziness, headaches, fatigue, brain damage, seizures, nausea, and much more.

So on top of the “who really knows what it is” main ingredients you have these add-ons that make most of these supplements pure junk.

Even if they do give you results in the gym, at what cost do they come?

On the flip side, I understand the desire to have better workouts. I’m always looking for an edge. If I can take a supplement and I do one to two percent better in my workout I am quite happy with that result.

But I also want to put my health first.

That’s why I was excited when I heard about Hercules Pre-Workout Formula from Super Man Herbs.

It includes Polyrhachis Ant Extract. This tonic herb from China has a great reputation for providing instant energy and being great for workouts.

It has absorbable ATP to directly fuel your cells. It is known as a greater qi tonic than even the much better known ginseng. In the Chinese Medicine system of three treasures its a qi tonic is one that provides usable everyday energy. This is critical for working out for obvious reasons.

It’s the highest concentration of zinc from any food, a necessary nutrient needed for muscle contraction, about 300 enzymatic reactions, a large component of the creation of semen in men, and much more.

Secondly is a yang jing herb called cistanche. This herbs is sometimes called “cistanche in your pants” as it is said to not only help in the bedroom but even be good for size. That yang energy needed for performance in the sack is the same as for working out.

The next herb is something that would support the body in recovery after the workout was over. For that there is little better than maral root. Although few people in the west are aware of this herb it has a fairly extensive history in Russia and the surrounding areas.

It was even prescribed to Russian athletes to help recover from hard workouts. It also contains novel plant steroids said to help build lean muscle mass, increase work capacity as well as a host of other benefits.

Those three herbs alone would make this great. And in addition is a little niacin (vitamin B3) which acts as a delivery system, delivering whatever you take it with into the cells quicker and better, than when taken alone.

This blend is a mix of herbs with the right amount of niacin. No fake colors, no added flavors. Nothing else.

For this reason it doesn’t taste great, but then powerful herbs seldom do.

Not only will Hercules Pre-Workout Formula help your workouts but you’ll likely discover lots of side effects...beneficial ones. These herbs increase antioxidant capabilities, modulate the immune system, support anti-gaining and so much more. They‘re also packed with nutrition.

You can read more about it and what it can do for you here>>>>>Hercules Pre-Workout Formula

Suffering Estrogen Dominance? Read All About The Testosterone Boosting Superfood To Counter High Levels Of Estrogen

If you want to be healthy and get great results in the gym it comes down to one thing.

Hormones

Everything you do from what you eat, how you sleep, your training itself and more will effect your hormones.

If your hormones are in the toilet, you don’t have much hope for any of the above. Try as hard as you might you can’t get stronger.

Any attempts at fat loss will be stalled as you body can’t let it go.

Your sex drive is diminished, and in many cases for men you’ll suffer from impotence.

All from hormone problems.

But if your hormones are optimized you’ll feel great, have abundant health and energy, enjoy a healthy sex life, and get phenomenal gains from your workouts.

And you see there is a problem today leading to these problems.

Estrogen Dominance

Although estrogen is thought of as a woman’s hormone, men have it too, just in smaller quantities. But in both cases because of the environment we live in we’re bombarded with excess estrogen.

Xeno-estrogens from pesticides, chemicals and plastics

Phyto-estrogens from soy, hops and flax

Metallo-estrogens from heavy metals (like those found in fresh fish or most tap waters)

Myco-toxins from various funguses that contaminant many foods.

That’s an overload of estrogen!

Made even worse because it’s the bad kind of estrogen.

Although you can do you best to eliminate these, and you should, because its so difficult in the modern age we live in everyone could use some help.

And there is something that has become popular in the West over the last couple of years…even though its been known about in Chinese Medicine for thousands of years.

It’s the pollen of the pine tree.

The amazing thing about Pine Pollen is it contains phyto-androgens.

These substances act like testosterone, DHEA and more within our body. And they work intelligently in helping to support the optimization of hormones within our body.

This has been called THE Superfood of the 21st century as it can help so many people to work back towards that optimal state of hormones.

Look, some people may need to go to their doctors and get on hormone replacement therapy.

But that’s expensive and time consuming. Plus why not try out a natural solution first.

This is an inexpensive and quality source of pine pollen that my friend Logan Christopher of Super Man Herbs hooked me up with.

Its so awesome I just had to share it with you.

For more details on what pine pollen can do for you go here.

Secret Bodybuilding Root You Have Never Heard Of

Did you know that bodybuilders are often on the cutting edge of nutrition?

Not only are many of them willing to do whatever it takes, like injecting themselves full of illegal drugs, but they’re always on the lookout for something that works even better.

And for those that aren’t willing to go the illegal route this becomes even more important.

Dive deep into the bodybuilding world and you’ll hear about different natural herbs that can have powerful effects.

One of those is Maral Root.

The name Maral root comes from the maral deer who feed on it. Specifically the males would fight each other during mating season, then dig out the roots and eat them to restore strength. Local people noticed this and used the root themselves historically for the following purposes:

* Recovery from fatigue
* Recovery from various illnesses
* Increasing performance “in the bedroom”
* Improving mild depression
* Increase memory
* Increase work capacity
* Adaptogenic properties
* Anabolic properties

It’s even been Prescribed to Russian Athletes to Aid in Recovery from Hard Training

Many people have heard of the Chinese Olympic athletes in swimming and track that won many medals and their use of Cordyceps. But that wasn’t all they used. Also included were Rhodiola, Eleuthero and Maral Root.

What makes it so powerful?

It has a few different natural plant sterols that do the trick.

One substance is called 20-Hydroxycdysone which increases protein synthesis at the cellular level, which leads to increases in muscular tissue.

Maral root also contains ecdysterones, a hormone normally found in insects and crustaceans. Not normally found in humans, this component has been shown to have many physiological effects and may be at least partially responsible for its anabolic activity.

Check out more details and get it here. Maral Root

Animal Fitness For Sports Conditioning

Ever wondered how you can take your sports conditioning to another level; amplifying your strength, speed, explosiveness, endurance and overall coordination? Football players need great strength for tackling, Baseball players need hip drive and arm power for hitting homeruns, MMA Fighters need superior conditioning to go for those long grueling fights that could either end early or late in the fight, Soccer players need incredible leg endurance and explosiveness to kick the ball hard into the goal net and stay in the game for up to 90 minutes a period, an amateur/pro wrestler needs pure focus and intensity for insane matches that can last 5 minutes or 60 minutes. Conditioning one man once said is your greatest ally.

I've been in sports and know the training it takes, I do wish I had learned what I know now and could've been greater than when I was in that sport (Shot Put & Discus). Even though I learned them later in life I'am convinced that Animal Movements play a major role in physical and mental development. It doesn't matter if you're a pop warner jock or a 20 year professional, you can make the very best of your sport using the animals we have all been in awe of for thousands of years.

Moving your body in this manner is not as easy as it looks and often at times looks kind of goofy but as they say, looks can be deceiving. I have taught both kids and adults alike the value and fun of Animal Training. It puts the word fun in FUNctional when it comes to the mental game and how you use your structure to mimic an animal the best way possible. Some people say you're not an animal, you're a man so move like a man; well in some ways that's true, we can't move exactly like a wild animal because we're not structured like them. However, we do shed the same color blood as many mammals and other animals among nature so why not utilize that entity?

For kids who are in sports it's a perfect ensemble of recreation and physical fitness because it doesn't just build strength and stamina those are part of the package; the big picture is realizing that they give a kid coordination, teaches how to use their whole body in harmony just like in sports. Some of the animal exercises like birds, amphibians and those who are hunters like rabbits, the big cats, a spider and Bears strengthen muscles in the arms, thighs, hips & ankles giving them that explosive power out of the shoot like a baseball player for example; they're in the outfield and the ball is hit a good distance away from him/her so they run hard and sometimes have to leap and dive in order to catch it. That's pure speed and explosiveness in the whole body in order to do something like that. Another example would be a long jumper; they speed up towards the line and at the right moment explode off and leap as far as possible. Two animals come to mind when I see that, the Kangaroo & the Frog; two of the most amazing jumpers in the animal kingdom.

The other thing that a lot of athletes don't always consider when their training for their sport is to strengthen the tendons. How often are tendon and ligament injuries as oppose to muscle injuries? Tendons seem to be the most common of injuries is because of two things; one, they're not properly strengthened that prevents tears and breaks, the second is because muscles look amazing on the field. What I mean by that is, you can't see the tendons because they're inside the body, you can see muscles however and these guys (mostly in football, baseball and Track) have insanely larger muscles than they need to have and the biggest mistake is that too much muscle overruns the tendons' abilities to stay in tack like on your ankles, femurs, shoulders and elbows. Animal exercises don't just build solid and powerful muscle but strengthen the tendons to help the muscles function at a accelerated rate.

I firmly believe that Animal Movements should be used as often as possible in conjunction with the Sport you or a child is in. They'll make you fast, energetic, coordinated, strong, full of stamina and will build insane real muscle that isn't bloated up and full of fluff. Here are 3 courses to give you ideas on bringing the very best out of you within your sport.

Using Supplements Intuitively

Supplements can be a touchy subject because there are certain things that don't always mesh well for some people and it can bug the hell out of them. It's literally a multi-billion dollar industry and the majority of supplements don't always do what they're meant to do. The kind that are sold frequently are powders, pills and drinks. A lot of attention is based on how they're labled and how cool the cover looks. Some people flat out don't use supplements at all which is fine, hell i'd be fine with it myself but for a number of us it does help but finding the right kind and know how to take them is vastly important.

I've taken supplements off and on since I was 19 years old. So for 12 years I've tried and tested different things from pill form, gummies, powders, Tincture & energy type drinks. I've done the Met-RX, Muscle Milk, protein bars, whey protein and vitamin stuff as well. Some have worked and some haven't. I've even used supplements are extremely high in potency but taste like shit. However due to recent events and being over 30 with a rod and pins holding my shin bones and ankle bones together, things aren't always that simple when it comes to just eating right and exercising. I love to train and I definitely love to eat but no matter how clean my eating habits may be from time to time, it's not going to save me from potential arthritis and small pains that are going to happen as I get older.

I do not care what people say about not taking supplementation and they don't always be needed and you can squeak by just good eating and training. Life isn't always that straight and narrow. There are people out there who've had a great deal of either injuries or deficiencies that food simply cannot save from. Going back on some supplements and adding onto new ones is something for me to do to help prevent some form of pain from my leg injuries and the lack of warm weather during the winter months here in Idaho. Sure the sun comes out from time to time but there's literally no warmth from it at all so to get my Vitamin D at the level I feel is needed is taking a form of Vitamin D Supplement which I take up 12,000 IU of. I'm also doing Vitamin E, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc & Recovery Vitamins Supplements. However; there are kinds I don't take everyday but only at times where I intuitively feel like they're needed like the Recovery and Vitamin Chews I take. Those are for days like up to 3 times a week.

So why do I feel supplements should be taken intuitively? It's because sometimes the instructions on the back of any type of supplement may not work for every single person. Unless you have a serious deficiency, into bodybuilding or are so damn serious about being in shape you don't need to take all your current supplements everyday. I'm not do more or less than what you're told to take but do them on days where it works for you. I don't take my recovery supplements everyday for a particular reason; one being that due to my size I have to take more than 4 pills in order to be effective but the bottle only has 60 capsules. So I take 5 only less than a few times a week to recover from big time workouts that hit me really hard on that day. The Chews are the same ordeal. I only need to take 2 a day but I can get a very high dose of Vitamins & Minerals from healthy smoothies, so I spread them out when I feel they're worth taking. The Vitamin D, E and others like Zinc, Mag & Calcium do need to be taken everyday because I need to keep my joints healthy and keeping up with my hormones (For the record I'am not repeat not taking steroids like needles, creams or pills) with the Vitamin D until warmer weather comes back. This works for me.

Take care of your body in a safe and healthy manner, there are some supplements that people need to take more or less of than what is instructed due to age, lack of muscle, bodyfat, low testosterone or estrogen so make smart decisions about what you take and not risk yourself overdosing or become so scared that taking very little is not enough. I believe in intuition and that the best things to take are ones that give you real benefit and results with little to no side-effects that can cost you hospital bills. Here is a list however of what I have seen and used that not only works like a charm but can help you have high levels of health.

A Story About An Office Worker Named David

I'm going to tell you guys something that might piss people off but I want you all and anyone who is into Starbucks to be aware of what might benefit you on a health and money saving perspective. This isn't to knock coffee or anything but let's face it, the majority of coffee being sold these days is very unhealthy and can cause a ton of problems you don't want so this is more of an awareness and putting a perspective for those who want to be healthier and could benefit from this:

On every corner in the U.S there is a Starbucks Coffee House. About 1 in 3 people who are coffee fanatics go into one everyday of the week. So lets put the average person in this perspective and let's call him David. David works 5 days a week at his job at an office in New York City. He gets up every morning, showers, gets dressed, eats a little something and goes to pick up a Iced Coffee w/ Milk on his way to work. Walks in, waits in line for a good few minutes (depending on the chaos since it is the holidays after all), orders his coffee which let's say is about $3. Not too bad, pretty cheap considering it's freaking Starbucks.

He gets his coffee with his name written all messed up like Dayved or Daevid something stupid like that. After about maybe 10 minutes or so he walks out and heads to the office no big deal. He's been working at this office for a while now for about a year, might get an early promotion who knows but overall, just a regular guy, has his good days, some bad but does what he can to get by but is building up a bit of health issues. He's in his early mid-30's like 34 at best. Now let's get some math on David's spending at Starbucks that he routinely goes to everyday, same coffee, some of the same people around and takes roughly the same amount of time in line depending on the early morning rush hour. For $3 a day that adds up to $15 a week. In a month he's invested about $60 worth of that nice big and tall Iced-Coffee w/ whole milk that he likes.

Now granted this kind of Coffee alone has around 35 grams of Sugar, 170mg of Caffeine, over 34+ carbs and doesn't have a lot of vitamins and minerals that could help Dave's digestive system and nutrition. Like I said he's been at his company for a whole year. Look at how much Coffee of this caliber he is spending at; $60/mo for a year is $720. This type of coffee could be linked to some of his health issues that he is not aware of like developing diabetes, high blood pressure, clogged arteries and a terrible build up on the central nervous system. I don't know about you but this could very well affect other things going in his life that just could go haywire.

One day David runs into and talks to a buddy of his he's known since their fraternity days at NYU; man the memories these guys had all those years ago of partying, girls, guys banding together, getting his degree in Business Technology and living the life of your average New Yorker. His boy John mentions to him this bad ass supplement he's taking that gives him insane energy, mental focus that would make Marine Snipers jealous and has lost around 10 pounds of bodyfat the first month he went on it. Good ole David listens but doesn't really pay attention because come on now, he's got his coffee why the hell would he need to take anything else to get his energy going in the morning. He starts thinking about what Johnny said and it couldn't get out of his head. Thought about again the next day and a couple weeks after that. Something finally hits his head and David goes online to find this supplement that Johnny was taking. Did a little digging and found the site for it. The Supplement this guy was taking was called Spark.

He was reluctant to buy it at first because it looked expensive. He started looking at the Supplement Facts and he was blown away by them so hard he nearly fell off his Darth Vader Rocking Chair (yeah the guy is a star wars nerd what of it?). He began to do a little math to compare the coffee he's been drinking for the past year. From what he gathered, the Spark Canister costs $51.95 which sounds steep but bare with the guy here; it is 42 servings of his favorite flavor Fruit Punch and only needs to to take 1 serving a day. This stuff he was looking had not once of sugar, very low calorie intake and has less than 50mg of caffeine than the coffee he's been drinking. Kept doing a little more math because seriously, it's part of his job and he's good at it. A little more calculations he put down the amount of $51.95 and added up to a full year's worth (let's go by 30 servings/mo) which came out to around $623.40. Holy crap bro, that's nearly triple digits in savings he's getting out of it. That was the final nail in the coffin because not only is he saving a shit load of money on one thing, it's also more than a whole month supply (42 servings for 42 days). Some of that money he is saving can go towards his rent, a fitness course he start exercising with without needing to go to the gym like this one called Animal Flow, hell even find healthier foods to eat.

Since getting the spark and going on his new routine; he's lost 15 pounds in the last month, gets to work earlier, started eating healthier little by little and has gained so much energy his own mother thought he was on drugs or something. No one has ever seen him smile and light this much. Who knows how far David can go if he keeps this up. He even joined the Company he got Spark from and started sharing it with his co-workers, friends on facebook & twitter and is even working towards a goal to where he won't need that crappy office job anymore and making a living helping others just like his bud Johnny did for him.

You can do the very same thing our man David here did. Change your life for the better, look to new horizons and make goals you didn't think were possible. I've been on Spark the same amount of time David has and I haven't had this much energy since I was in my early 20's and i'm an energetic guy. I'm jealous of this guy but I also admire him. What is your story lately and what story will you write when you get on this sucker? Not all coffee is bad but the majority of how it's made can have an effect on your health both physically and financially. Have a beautiful Monday wherever you and be amazingly awesome.

Black Friday Is Here...AHHHH

That time of year where you can't help but buy some crazy stuff for Xmas for your loved ones. Pushing everyone around the stores, cramming yourselves into tents waiting who know how long for a store to open at 4:30 am. It's not fair to you or your wallet. If you plan on black Friday being the day to find kick ass sales? Go where they matter. Some stores won't always have what you're looking for and it can be heartbreaking. Although it's easier to shop at a store because people are there to interact with but let's face it, you didn't go shopping on one of the roughest days of the year to socialize or to pop a new friend because they are getting the same things you are. Shopping Online isn't the greatest option but it's a better option than most. I want to share with you some really cool places where you can get bad ass deals that not only will you get a kick out of but your little ones too.

First will be at Amazon where you can find even the most rare things on sale and save a ton of money in the process, got prime, even better use it to your advantage this holiday season. I love Amazon where I can get my favorite superhero flicks, I've also been into Star Wars again because of the new movie coming that me and other people I know are dying to see. For her birthday I bought my girl some amazing Star Wars stuff she totally geeked over like a huge chest to put your things in, a poster book, a Yoda lightsaber flashlight, A character book chalk full of beautifully designed graphics. I get freaking jealous and I bought the damn things. I love using Amazon for Instant Movies on my PS3 and watch fun TV Shows and movies that appeal to me. Do your kids or anyone you know love Comic Books? I have a whole store just for people like them because I love the artwork, stories, little gags, the heartbreaks and the kick ass action of guys like Thor, Captain America, Moon Knight, Blade, Vampirella, Dr. Strange and a ton of others. There are limitless amounts of cool stuff you can get that might save your life from being crumbled in a store. I'm sorry but I believe a parent or relative should get murdered over a freaking doll or a t-shirt a child they love would like.

The next one I wanted to share with you is for my fitness nuts out there looking for good deals on fitness equipment that is ready, brand new and just waiting to be used to help you build muscle, lose weight, gain stamina and even chisel the hell out of your core. My friends over at Lifeline Fitness are having a staggering 40% OFF SALE on every product they have. I personally use this type of equipment myself for when I travel or want to grab out of my bag at home and have a gym that can be stuffed in a dufflebag. Using a the Coupon Code GIVEYOU40 at checkout you can get great stuff that can be used but practically anyone, can be used anywhere and gets you fit. For years I've used them to suit my needs that is affordable than weights, I like lifting but I do have to practical and there are advantages. Get the gift of health and make the effort to train like you would in a gym, listen to your own music, have fun and challenge yourself.

One more place I highly recommend is another fitness site for the serious mofos who want to use high quality equipment that can change the very foundation of not just yourself but for a gym as well. Really awesome package deals inspired by the Military, Fire Department & Overall Garage Warriors. These guys are top of the line and are far ahead of a very competitive pack. I'm talking about the Crossfit Site Rogue Fitness. What it would be like for you to afford your own equipment set up for your gym, home, garage or backyard. A rack to use for developing superhuman strength in powerlifting, set up gymnastics rings to get the most insane upper body workout of your life. Collars that clasp on like a damn vice for those PR attempting lifts. Top of the line equipment for the inspiring Strongman who wants to obliterate the competition with Yokes, Axels, Stones, Monster Bells fit for a beast, Harnesses to strap into for Truck Pulling; all your hearts desire for the ultimate athlete. You don't even need to be in crossfit in order to benefit from this bad ass place; maybe you're an MMA Fighter, Olympic Weightlifter, someone who loves Conditioning, Football Players, Pro Wrestlers, Baseball, Hockey hell even actors in the movies used this stuff to train for roles.

You do not have to wait in line to get what you want. Be safe, pick what you feel could benefit you or someone else. I cannot stress enough about helping you all have a safe and beautiful holidays that are less stressful and more of awesome love and happiness. Take a long hard look at what you think you might get a store near you where crowds would rather shiv you rather than help you find something that could bring cheer to another person. Most of the time it's every man for himself and I don't wish anyone to get hurt or feel because something wasn't there and it was all for nothing. Be safe and be awesome everyone. Make Black Friday a much lighter color because nothing brightens up like a great surprise in that stocking.

The Gorilla Is My Animality (And Being Thankful)

Thanksgiving is tomorrow so you maniacs better brush up on your training before having that huge feast. I know i'll be hungry as hell that day, hopefully the family i'm hanging with can make enough food for this beast. Other than that how the hell are you guys? Got a good mid-week going or do you have those mid-week blues? Sometimes it can be lonely for some of you and maybe you don't celebrate a holiday like this, i'm certainly not the biggest fan for a few reasons but I do my best to make it just another day but with insane amount of food.

The first thing I want to talk about is what are you thankful for? However the year has been for you what have been the positives? For me; i'm thankful for the people in my life especially my girl Holly. Only 7 months in and she has been a light that shines bright even in some dark moments plus has been the best thing to happen to me in a long time. There has never been a day where we don't laugh or are there for each other when we need it the most. I push her in training sometimes but she also pushes back even harder to have me step up my game and it has. I'm also thankful for my friends in the fitness world who encourage me and inspire me everyday to be creative and sharing their passion. These are the top 2 i'll mention but I've got more that I want to just hold onto myself.

The second thing I want to mention is; in the spirit of Animal Exercises I want ask all of you, what is your Animality? For those that don't understand it's a term that came from the Mortal Kombat video games I use to play as a kid and when you were the winner of a fight you could finish the helpless opponent by doing some really gruesome stuff but another option (if you knew the right codes and directions) was to tear the guy to pieces by turning into an animal that your character's spirit possessed like Liu Kang had the Dragon, Nightwolf was well a wolf or Sonya Blade being the Hawk. Every one of us has an animalistic spirit dwelling within. The easiest way to find that out (at least from my experience) to channel that is to do Animal exercises, practice as many as you can creating games, scenarios, competitions or learning the various moves and instinctively figure out which animals seems to be the most frequent and favorite that you do. The gorilla happens to be mine. I always train and seem to intuitively do this exercise more often than any other Animal. This isn't an invitation to figure out your animality and going out killing people or anything like that. It's unleashing that powerful spirit within you that helps shape your body, makes you stronger, powerful and full of insane conditioning.

It can be difficult finding out which animal suits you and the way you move but that's the beauty of Jungle Fitness is to find a new sense of yourself and unleashing that inner strength you may not realize is inside you. That internal force that brings out our instincts and gives us that glare most will never understand. The gorilla is mine because I love the strength it possesses, the sheer power of it's tendons, the musculature of it's chest, back, arms and neck. It is congruent with what I want to achieve and that's being as being big and athletic as possible. I'm the ground and pound kind of guy if I wrestled someone, I love to climb at times and walk as if I was King Kong. Your Animality might be different but you have to feel it and experience that passionate fire and how you move, the way your mind and awareness comes into play. We all have it yet only a small few have ever achieved it.

That's all for today you guys and I want to wish you and your family a very happy thanksgiving and for those that don't celebrate it, kick back and just be you. Before I go I have a surprise for you. One major company I represent will be having an insane Black Friday sale that will be 40% OFF and free shipping for orders over $100. Now that's awesome and I can't wait to share with you and it's one of the best fitness companies in the world today that has helped thousands of people all over the world and has been used by athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, Soccer, Rugby and College Sports. You don't want to miss out.

Kick ass today and everyday,

Ben

An Animalistic Weekend

Hey there my Animal Comrads,

Did you guys have a kick ass weekend? I hope so. I stayed in most of the time since it's getting really damn cold outside. I'm a born and raised coastal Californian, the coldest I was ever use to until 4 years ago was no more than 38-45. It's getting as low as the 20's and i'm here most of the time in T-Shirts & Shorts (go ahead take your shots). It was more or less a quiet weekend in the house, played some PS3, promoted a little, got sent some bucks for selling a course or 2 a while back, watched the new series on Netflix Jessica Jones and finished up the first season of the Flash to catch up. All the while training like a wild animal and having a ton of laughs with my girl Holly whom you can read about here.

Over the weekend especially yesterday I was contemplating about what exact benefits you can get from actually doing Animal Exercise and consistently. On Twitter, I wrote 20 different and awesome benefits on what this method can do for adults and kids alike. I encourage you to click on the link and check them out. I have become more enthralled and excited than ever to do Animal movements. I do 15-30 min. a day everyday recently and it never gets me doing the same order twice. I average in those workouts (play time for me) around 25-60 rolls at a time. By rolls I mean doing the Dice Game where you roll once for an animal, a second time for numbered steps. Some animals are tougher than others but that's where you pace yourself, breathe after each set and check it off. I'm seeing incredible results right away; arms are getting more defined, my core is getting muscular, my chest is bigger, my legs are incredibly stronger and my explosiveness is powerful as well. Still got a ways to go to truly hit my animal peak but it's a hell of a ride.

What are you doing to get yourself in shape? What's preventing you from having fun while you exercise? Is it the weather, your job, family, the bills, stress? How do you expect to achieve your best self if you can't make the effort? Timing is a pain in the ass, it's understandable and it's about being realistic I sympathize with you. The thing is, you can get a great start if you're willing to put a little time even if 5 minutes is all you have for now. Did you know even 1 minute can make a huge difference in what you do. If you played the animal dice game like I talked about, do 5 rolls of animal movement just 5. Anyone can do 5 come on now that's nothing (but can be a lot) and it only takes a couple minutes. I know you may think that it's not enough to get results. In the beginning it does. I'm going to tell you something that most people are afraid to admit; when I first played this game I nearly passed out because I pushed myself too hard way too fast. I wanted to quit after that because it was too much and like most people I never thought i'd put myself in that position but I didn't quit. I screwed up and had nothing to do with the exercises or the game itself, it was my foolish pride and uncontrollable excitement to push the limits because that's what you're told right? I dusted myself off and went into thinking mode, creating a strategy to where I do only a small portion and build from there. I got better and it's become my favorite game to play.

Maybe the game is not meant for you and that's perfectly fine. If you're into animal movements maybe you want to only a few of them and do 1 minute each to start. Play around with them and come up with your own game. With the dice game it at times comes up with an animal I highly despise and gets me winded more than any other animal so unless it's low reps I don't do it. I choose a different animal for myself, something easier or one that I'm comfortable challenging myself on. I still get it done and keep going with the game that I want to play.

Over this weekend it made me think that when you do something consistently it becomes a habit; when you play with your exercise it becomes more than a habit; it becomes something fun and exciting to do. I never know what to expect everyday when I do animal movements. At times my muscles don't know what the hell is going on. After a while my muscles know what the exercise is after doing it so many times but things switch up in the blink of an eye where they still need to adapt. A lot can change with a single roll of the dice. What will you do when that movement comes up?

Hope you start the week with a bang and some movement of your favorite animals. Mark your territory by moving (not peeing) and have a blast with it. Get the kids involved, got some warm weather where you are, make a game outside. If it's too cold (like it is for me here) make enough room for you and/or your family and play a little game. There are ways to get in shape, you got the basics and now just a little imagination.

Welcome to a new week and tell me your stories of Thanksgiving and be sure to let me know what you're thankful for. Before I leave you I got some cool stuff to share with you. Having a big holiday dinner can knock you off your way of eating to stay in healthy shape. It's going to be tempting but I will give you a couple options. If you choose to eat, train first to really earn that meal so you can get the calories and sources of protein/carbs to fuel yourself and just eat. If you truly want to stick to your guns, I've got a few things I'd like to show you that can help suppress those big time cravings and make the best of eating well and enjoy your feast just as awesomely. Here are three things that will keep your hunger at bay:

Carb-Ease
Crave Check
& Meal Replacement Shake (White Chocolate Peppermint)

This stuff works like a charm and has helped literally thousands of people so they can still get great results while eating well.
