Learning From A Physical Culturist
I have doing exercise since I was a little kid in PE and
first got a taste of Weight Training when I was an early teen. After High
School I joined a gym and learned from a few guys here and there but never made
a big impact with them and just didn't get it. After my accident back in 2005,
I began learning just a few things from a book called Combat Conditioning by
Matt Furey. When I began walking again and was cleared to train, I dedicated
myself to get stronger and healthier and it just happens that one of my good
friends lived only literally a couple doors down, we call him the Duke but to a
lot of people today you know him as the Garage Warrior Tyler Bramlett. He was
the first guy that taught me real conditioning and mental toughness. This was
my stepping stone into Physical Culture.
One of the guys Tyler had me research on was Karl Gotch, the
man who’s considered the God of Pro Wrestling in Japan, one of the first things
I learned was how to use bodyweight exercises on a deeper level. I had already
done some work on the deck of cards workouts but another thing I learned later
on was “You think you know, you’re dead.” Getting that stuck in my head I
understood that if you want to be great, you got to keep learning. Just because
you know a thing or two doesn't make you a superior expert, you keep testing
yourself and when you pass your knowledge onto others you want them to succeed
more than you did, if you don’t than you’re not a good coach and you haven’t
learned a damn thing.
Another great wrestler of the old days was Billy Robinson
who has quoted saying “You learn how to learn” by this he means no matter what
you do in life or in training you keep filling your head like a sponge and
although you could be a master later on, you will always be the student.
Understanding this isn't easy because you've done so many things in your life
and yet you feel there’s nothing left but only have touched the surface. In
nearly 8 years of being in the Physical Culture world, I have learned more than
most guys my age have learned in their entire life and yet I haven’t even
peaked the mountain. Constantly learning helps you become more successful,
doing things one day at a time.
Taking foundations from different elements of training gives
you variety and teaches you which ones to work with and not to work with.
Taking from Tyler and other guys it is essential to build your style and learn
how to maximize them with different parts from different people. If you just do
the same stuff over and over and expect something different to happen you’re on
your way to be insane (literally). The ability to find your own style makes you
unique and although most people don’t like change it’ll make them think twice
about what they do.
A golden rule in the Physical Culture world that made me
learn the hard way with a few guys is the level of respect. Respecting others
who have made big impacts, small ones and even crossed in the middle should be
respected. I’m not saying you should like everything someone puts out, hell I
can’t stand some of the crap that’s out today but I give those men and women
credit for doing what they think is best. There’s guys out there who hate
weights but love bodyweight, some loathe bodyweight and embrace weights and
then there’s guys who are caught in the middle like me, Tyler, Bud Jeffries, Logan Christopher and many of the old-timers. We all have our own opinions of
what works, what doesn't and what can be improved but in the end you learn
respect not just to them but yourself because the moment you learn to respect
that you are as a person and/or athlete, the bigger your opportunities will be.
There’s always going to be debates on who’s the best of the
best but in my opinion there’s no such person. Each Physical Culturist over the
last 100+ years has had something that made them successful and they’re the
best at it. I’m not going to compare who’s great at what and who’s the most
successful because come on that’s just a waste of time and you’re not going to
accomplish much. There’s a lot of great strongmen, wrestlers, steel benders,
hand balancers, bodybuilders and others that are no different than you and me,
just have something special about them that you can also find within yourself.
To truly understand Physical Culture it’s a lifelong journey
from your beginnings up until the day you die, there’s no real destination. You
constantly learn, take things from different places and mold them together
creating your own jigsaw puzzle so do speak. It’s finding who you are as a
person physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Be Proud To Wake Up In The Morning
Most people really hate getting up in the morning because
they have to work or take care of kids and feel like crap from some of those
nightless sleeps. To avoid this, practice your thinking and how it helps you be
energized when you do wake up in the morning. The usual thinking “god I hate
waking up, 5 more minutes.” How often have you heard that one whether you’re
working, going to school or whatever? Changing your thinking can make you or
break you as you decide what to do when you wake up.

There’s No Suffering In Exercise
Back in the early 90’s there was a baseball movie called A League Of Their Own and one of the most famous lines of that film was “There’s No Crying In Baseball.” If you ever get a chance, check it out it’s a great movie and one of Tom Hank’s best performances after Big. Now what does that have to do with exercise? Well, some of us do cry while training, sometimes if we get hurt and others when we accomplish a goal. Many people in fitness feel like exercise is torture and think its just another day in the gym, in the end they end up suffering and that’s something that should never happen. “There’s no suffering in exercise.”

Guiding Your Way To Handstand Push-ups
In any form of training we all have to start somewhere and that's at the basics. Building foundations are keys to successful training with learning the basics comes with intelligence. When you start out its new and sometimes difficult to understand but as time goes on you become smarter and smarter.
With the case of Handstand Push-ups, you are learning the basics of Hand Balancing in this manner with using the wall. Now contrary to popular belief this type of training does not mean its working just your arms but the entire body and with good reason. You are practicing your body as a unit and with the arms you have to use the stabilizing muscles such as your core, chest, shoulders, back and yes even your legs.
When doing push-ups in this manner yo have to use the body as one solid piece just like a steel rod. If you don't master this first, you won't have much to do and holding the position won't help either. Once you have mastered this there are many ways to do Handstand Push-ups.
Take for example your hand placements can determine whether the exercise will be easier or harder. Even shifting your head from looking at the floor to looking forward will make a huge difference to see how far down you can go. The ability to overcome these differences is up to you and see how far you're willing to go to create awesome push-ups.
If you're a weight lifter, Handstand Push-ups can help increase your pressing power because this type of training increases your awareness on how you apply the body and its also a full body press. Because of this type of training I'm able to press a 88lb. Kettlebell without that much effort and even did it the first time I picked one up. Will that hapn with you? Maybe, maybe not but when you practice this regularlly you can rest assured your pressing strength will go through the roof.
Now that the physical part is out of the way you still have to learn how to use your mind. At first it can be scary being upside down and not know what the hell to do. This is one of the true tests of mind over matter.
The ability to overcome fear to increase your strength. Take into consideration the olympic gymnasts and acrobats on how they do their hand balancing stunts. They make them look easy as if they're a cake walk but deep down they are just like you and me. They started out fearful and learned to practice over and over again to overcome that fear and become strong and powerful. Now does this mean you have to be a gymnast or acrobat to understand this? No. You just need to learn to infuse your mind with your body and develop the way its meant for you.
Learn to become im"press"ive with Ultimate Guide To Handstand Push-ups and learn the basics that has taught some of the strongest men on the planet on how to become strong and powerful.

Strong Or Weak.....He's Got You Covered & Then Some
Every living person strives to be strong at something whether its business, strength, health, fitness, sports, carpenting or what it is they want to do it is important to maintain your health and keep up your strength no matter how old you are whether you're 10 or 100. Being the strongest as best as you can be is not only a lifelong journey but more of a quest.
My friend Logan Christopher has been on that jorney ever since he was a young skinny high school kid starting with bodybuilding and supplementation. Once he felt that didn't work he began studying bodyweight exercises from a few courses and that started his quest to find the best ways to get super strong, healthy and functionally athletic and he has done so many times over and still has much to learn just like the rest of us who are looking for the holy grail of superhuman fitness. Most of what you'll see at Legendary Strength is what kept the old time tested methods that the old timers came up with going back 100 years or more.
Within the site you will find a variety of topics that may seem unorthodox or may be even controversial but thats the beauty of what he represents. He doesn't always use lay back topics or skip over a thing or 2 no he gets straight to the point and some of it is pretty funny but also its as educational as you can get. He doesn't leave any stone unturned and puts himself right in the brink of his writing and products. Some products are bodyweight but a good portion of them also include barbells, dumbbells and kettlebells.
You will find at Legendary Strength a real test of what can work for you or what can't work for you but either way he wants YOU to be the strongest you can possibly be and not just for looks but for daily life. A good portion of the products you will see will take you to another level and some of us even have surpassed that level and he helped bring in more. I mean take a look at what he has to offer....
Advanced Bridging Course
Kettlebell Snatch Domination
Ultimate Guide To Handstand Push-ups
&
The Superhuman Training Membership
There are many more but these are a top pick for me because I have experienced first hand how to do all of those things and more. Snatched a 53lb. KB 83 times in 5 min, fell back into a bridge & kicked over and back, got as high as 20 handstand push-ups and am a proud member of the superhuman training programs. You may not want to do all that stuff but you can become strong and healthy. Be apart of Legendary Strength and help us bring back the time honored methods of the old-time strongmen.

Become A Rugged Juggler
Now picture this in your mind and want you to see it clear as day….You’re in your backyard or park wherever you’re at and you have a heavy kettlebell in your hands. You swing it around for a bit then you switch hands and before you know it you’re juggling it around the back, under the legs and catching it in the air. If you see that then you have a good imagination that you can make into a reality.
It’s a fact that throwing a weight around with ease builds insane conditioning that isn’t just challenging but fun as hell. I’ve done it a bit myself and believe me its not as easy as it looks. That shouldn’t stop you though. A lot of people get discouraged from what can work for them and if its going to bring them results. There’s no way in hell you can juggle a kettlebell and not be in awesome physical shape.
A dull workout happens to us every once in a while but trust me when I say this if you really get into juggling kettlebells you will NEVER have a boring workout ever again. You have to constantly be aware of your surroundings and keep a sharp eye on catching the kettlebell itself. When you’re juggling you’re also building grip strength & agility that is unlike anything else you’ve ever done and holy crap man talk about cardio. Just doing less then 5 min. of a KB Juggling Workout will get your heart rate up fast and no I’m not joking on that.
With proper training Juggling can make your snatch and presses feel like a breeze and it’s still impressive. Imagine yourself being able to move heavy weight around with ease and impress your friends with your new found strength. Your conditioning will soar and believe me when I say this you cannot I repeat CANNOT juggle a KB without using your whole body as a unit. This makes isolation training look like a cake walk.
In this course developed by my good friend Logan Christopher, he will show you the basics of how to juggle the weight around and I bet in less then three minutes you will be able to do your first flip. Through some of the strongest men on the planet they all agree that this course is one of the best of its kind and one of the most innovative training components there is. I’ve seen first hand how strong a man can get through this type of training and it blows my mind every time. The skills you’ll develop will help carry over to a lot of others things because it teaches, hand-eye coordination, quick reflexes, grip strength & agility, full body training and it takes less time to get your heart up then a cardio bike.
When the heart rate goes up during a workout you’re increasing your HGH levels and when that happens you’re building muscle and burning fat. Natural HGH levels go a long way in developing a great body along with insane strength & endurance. Burning body fat is what a lot of us try to achieve so we can build the body of our dreams and with this kind of workout it’ll come quicker then you’ll ever imagine.
With the Definitive Guide To Kettlebell Juggling, you will learn to perform hundreds of different moves and skills and because of that Logan has an Iron Balls guarantee that you will get strong and fast. Not only that but he’s throwing in a set of bonuses that are worth more then what he’s giving you. These are a treasure to have and he’s giving them to you with a lifetime membership. You will get to see and learn new videos whenever he tackles the subject. There will be a total of not one not two but SEVEN BONUSES!!!!

Super Human Training Series
Becoming strong is a must have for any man or woman and for good reason. Being strong doesn’t mean you need to have big muscles or look like Fabio and whatnot. Being strong has a sense of purpose and it can mean anything. You can get strong at weights, bodyweight, bending steel, using kettle bells or lift odd objects whatever you want to achieve. Yet in order to become strong you must first have a will to push through limits you never knew you had. Yes you got to start out slow and patiently in order to get used to the training but also to learn from the best in order to achieve the best.

Small or Big You Have The Ability To Be Super Strong
When you visualize the image of a strongman what do you see? Cannonball Biceps? Thourobread Legs? Horseshoe Triceps? A V-Taper Back? Thats what many would think you nee to have to be strong when infact you don't need to have major built muscles. When a strongman performs a feat of strength (legit ones) he doesn't just incorperate muscles, he throws in muscle fibers, tendon power and the will to push through pain. It doesn't matter how big you are or how small you are, you can develop your body into a superhuman with proper training, an iron will and the ability to want to reach the next level. Here are the names of some strongmen small and big that you'd be surprised that are as strong and powerful far more then how they look....
Joseph Greenstein aka The Mighty Atom: At the peak of his career as a strongman he was no more then 5'4 and weighed just around 155 pounds. He was able to bend objects that just seemed impossible to the human eye. How can a man that size bend things like spikes, Iron Bars into various shapes, pull a car with his teeth, hold back an airplane with his hair. Its hard to believe that a man did all this but its true. He took various methods and put them together in a way that almost no one on earth can touch and was a feared man at one point because not only was he incredibly strong but he was also a wrestler that rarely ever lost. What was his secret?
Lawrence Farman aka Slim The Hammerman: At 8 years old his parents took him to a market and while the parents shopped, the young boy sat at a table and watched the Mighty Atom in his "old age" bend spikes and talk of nutrition and health. 10 years later this same young boy grew to a rugged muscular man and was still going to the Market to watch Atom do what he does best. This same man was working at a rock quarry where he smashed rock after rock for hours and hours on end. He became so strong that at 6'6 230 pounds, he can pick up a 16 pound sledgehammer from the floor by levering the bottom of the handle. Atom took a look at this and just couldn't believe a man can do this. Atom took on the Rugged man as his protege' and taught him the secrets of strongmanism and 20 years later, this guy sets a world record in all places Madison Square Garden and lifted and levered 2 hammers weighing in at 28 pounds each would put as much as 1760 inch pounds on his wrists. Within a 10-12 year period he started to peak and get stronger. Most men would think peaking is in their 20's and yet this guy peaked beyond 40. How the hell do you do that?
Otto Arco: The man of muscle control is one of the most developed men that ever lived during the golden age of Physical Culture. His poses were not only unique but were the stuff of legends. He not only had a superior physique but he had more then enough power to back up being one of the first men to press double-bodyweight at his size of 140 pounds at a height of 5'5. Where did he get his power from? What were the things he took to get that muscular? Is it genetics? Believe it or not he lifted weights, hand balance, ate whole foods and practiced gymnastics/wrestling, with the exception of surreal muscle control he never took steroids or took so?
How awesome would it be to learn the best of the best and develop a powerful physique whether you weigh 150 pounds or 300 pounds? Is it really possible to create strength and superior stamina, flexibility and nerves of steel without steroids or supplements? Just ask these guys and tell me if it isn't possible.....

Whats With All The Damn Links
As many of you have seen, I have banners and text links on the right-hand side of the blog because I'am apart of the affiliate programs and whatever one buys from one of my links I get a certain percentage out of it. Now am I in this for the money? I don't think so, if I was I would need to do far more work to promote them. Unlike wanting just money out of it I want to spread the word on them as well because I have personally used the various products and they work wonders without needing to say it twice. What you see is what I have used and go by. For bodyweight exercise I practice Bridging, squats and Animal Exercise very often & its never boring for me and it shouldn't be for anyone else.
I cannot express enough how awesome most of these products are and the athletes who work these products to me are the best of the best in their profession. Take Logan Christopher for example. A man at 6'2 and 180 pounds can juggle weights that the average man can only dream of. His strength is that much greater then some heavyweights. I'm 250 pounds and there are some things I would never attempt to do. That tells you size doesn't matter if you put yourself in a state of mind where you can be powerful no matter how big or small you are. His flexiblity is just as incredible as his strength as he's got some of the most controlled flexibility i've ever seen....Being able to fall back into a bridge then kicking over and standing up all in one fluid motion is not easy at all let alone being able to do it at 6'2 thats how controlled he is over his body. Anything he has to offer I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. He can take a weak individual and turn him into a athlete and not just on building strength and power but can teach you how to tap into your mind and bring out power within you that you never have done before. He is that damn good.
Bud Jeffries is another individual who has tremendous power. He is the exact opposite to Logan as far as size and strength goes. At 5'11 and 275 pounds he can take 100 pound dumbbells and make them look like 3 pounders. He's one of the strongest men on the planet hitting weight that would make the average man want to run for the hills. He has lifted half a ton in the squat starting in the bottom position, he's been able to lift heavy logs, carry large rocks and move kettlebells like they were lightweights. Regardless of his strength he is also one of the most flexible superheavyweights as well, able to do the splits, get into a bridge (both wrestler and gymnastic) and can stretch further then most men 20-30 pounds lighter then him. If you want to combine the best in weights, bodyweight and odd objects he is your man and if you feel he isn't then get the Twisted Conditioning series and see for yourself how much you can develop for overall strength and pure ferocious power.
Ryan Pitts would be the next guy on this list of athletes because he has helped bring back an old-time physical culture tradition and thats the Indian Clubs and The Mace. These weapons of exercise destruction has taken wrestlers to the very brink of the sport in Europe, Asia, India & Iran and everywhere else inbetween. You think you know conditioning, you haven't seen a damn thing until you have used the Clubs & The Mace. Once you get your hands on these bad boys you'll start to feel more powerful and more agile. Plus if you're a real stud get some sledgehammers and take the Mace to a whole new level of superior strength and power and work the grip unlike anything else. Even if you're not a wrestler these peices of equipment can be used by anyone who is willing to take the challenge and even has light weighted clubs and maces to help you get started or as an advanced athlete you will learn how to move your upper body in various directions to build shoulder and wrist agility that can help recover joint pain and carpal tunnel.
These guys know what they are talking about and are willing to help anyone who is up to the challenge and take his or her first steps to becoming a superior athlete and a rugged human being. Give these guys a chance and take your rightful place in Physical Culture. Spread the word of exercise and health and get rid of weakness and fear. Theres an old saying...
"Weakness is a crime...Don't be a criminal."

Getting Back To Basics & Why
Isolated training is really only good for one thing and thats rehabbing. The muscles and tendons were designed to be able to do multiple things while doing a single act. Push-ups for example are not just a chest exercise, it works the wrists, chest, arms, abs, shoulders and legs. Why would you need to work one specific muscle when you can get the whole shabang. Say you're in manual labor and had to dig ditches, stack bricks, break concrete blocks or move heavy objects....all of these do not require just one type of muscle group, they work multiple muscle groups so you're getting quite a workout in and of itself. That was just an example but it doesn't matter if you're an athlete, average joe, laborer or what, yes it takes some specific muscles to work something but for the most part you want to be able to use as many muscles as you can because if you work a specific muscle group too long you're prone to injury. Exercise in working multiple groups adds more benefit then just isolating.
Working out doesn't always mean you have to work the same muscles all the time, change things up make it interesting, instead of doing lateral raises why not do presses, instead of leg extensions do squats, why not take out the pull-downs and actually try pull-ups. When it really gets down to it, basic exercises are the way to go. Ask any strongman or look at and read of the old-timers and you will find the same thing. Isolation sucks because the body was not made to function that way it was meant to move and use multiple muscles to work that movement. Even in weightlifting, basic exercises like presses, squats, curls and dealifts are really all one needs to get in awesome physical shape. If you want to add variety why not add a sandbag or a few rocks and kettlebells to the mix. Practice performing basic movements whether bodyweight or weights either way they work like a charm and can build wonders beyond your imagination.
Want to learn the best in basic exercises and take a look at the banners and texts of guys like Logan Christopher, Bud Jeffries, Ryan Pitts and Pavel. Check them out and never look at isolation exercises again.

Take Boring Out & Go Nuts
What can you do to make your lifting more fun? You can speed up a press, try to whistle while you squat, how about even doing frog jumps with a Kettlebell. If you want my opinion if you're a kettlebell fan then why try to Juggle a kettlebell. Seriously if you want to take your KB Conditioning to a whole new level then switch hands every second and try to even walk. Think of juggling a pair of balls but add in an extra 10, 20 or 30 pounds. I tried this a few times and I'll tell ya it is difficult but it is fun as hell. When you learn to literally throw weight around in all sorts of places you're producing more Human Growth Hormone, gaining more power and building unreal grip strength. What if I told you that one guy doesn't just Juggle Kettlebells but he actually shows you tricks and stunts to create one of the best workouts of your life and only need a few minutes a day.
Logan Christopher does just that and then more. Swing around the back, under the legs, flip up in the air and even maybe catch behind the back. For the most part he's got the goods. At first he may not look like much but he is one of the strongest men on the planet and plenty of people can vouch for that. His DVD Kettlebell Juggling has great stuff for beginners, intermediate and advanced athletes. For those that don't know if you order his DVD he would put his Balls on the line to guarantee you results or get the refund back. Nothing he can say can compare to his abilities on handling weight men bigger then him can't even pick up at first. Take a look on the right hand side of the blog and check out Kettlebell Juggling. Your life with a Kettlebell will never be the same again and thats a fact. This will not only make your training fun but after practicing it for a while you can even put on a show and do some tricks that will amaze your friends. KB Juggling is one of the coolest forms of training and its insane the way you'll be handle weight that makes lifting look pointless.

My Time At The New Legendary Strength Gym
Went to the grand opening of my friend Logan Christopher's Legendary Strength Gym in Scotts Valley, CA. It had great people there, awesome food and a couple contests which featured Kettlebells in the Snatch & Jerk. Three guys including me was in the kettlebell snatch competition and I came in second place with 83 snatches in 5 min. There was a great atmosphere in the air and meeting a few guys from around the california area from San Mateo, San Jose and Belmont. There was also a feat of strength show done by Logan himself ripping a phonebook, bending a 60d penny nail and probably the most dangerous feat i've seen him do up close by getting into a wrestler's bridge, hold up 2 kettlebells, 3 concrete blocks stacked on top of him and while the position a friend of ours Smashed the blocks into peices with one swing of a sledgehammer. He also pulled his truck with his own hair while me and a few people sat in the back of the truck going for a ride.
For kicks Logan did a series of snatches with the kettlebell hitting an impressive 157 reps in 5 min. without ever putting down the bell. For the most part it was one of the best days I've ever had. You couldn't help but smile and laugh if you had been there. We all cheered each other on and one of the contestants' son did some snatching of his own hitting 104 reps with a 4kg kettlebell, that may not sound very much but this kid was 7 years old. He impressed us all and he was just having a grand old time. Me and some of the other guys were swapping stories about the old-time strongmen and giving each other ideas about training and we did it for hours and never once was it boring.
The Gym looks awesome for such a small space but with time and work I feel its gonna widen and take on some hefty competition. This was a big day for Logan and as a fan he's one of the coolest trainers there is and one hell of a physical culturist but as a dear friend of mine it was a very proud moment for me to be apart of it and share it with him. He deserves every bit of this and more. If you're looking to get in awesome shape, get strong, more flexible and gain more function for your body then go see Logan. I guarantee you will not only learn what he can teach but you will get the training of a lifetime. I'm very proud of him and I could not be any happier then what he has accomplished at his age.
For me it was a blast and when you get the oppertunity to share with the same people with the same passion as you do its nothing like anything else in the world.
Here are some of the results from the competitions
KB Snatch 53 lbs.: 5 min. Time Limit
1. 95 Reps
2. 83 Reps
3. 70 Reps
Logan: 157 Reps
KB Jerk 70 lbs.
1. 20 Reps
2. 21 Reps
Logan: 60 Reps
Tyler: 72 Reps (Hopefully I got that right)

How To Take Your Bridging To The Next Level
Bridging is often refered in wrestling and gymnastics to work the neck and spine. For the most part The Bridge is one of the most feared exercises there is but yet it can take your strength & Conditioning to levels that are surreal once you learn to bridge correctly. One of the greatest wrestlers that took the bridge to great heights for his body was the late Karl Gotch. If you were to learn wrestling from him; the first thing he'd teach you was bridging because if you want to dominate yourt opponent you have to be able to move your body from every angle possible and the bridge works the body from many angles. When you learn to bridge properly you can move onto advanced forms called Bridging Gymnastics. This is where you fall back into a bridge either on the hands or the head and kick over and back. There are many versions of the bridge.
Working the bridge takes patience and form just like with other forms of exercise but approach with caution and don't hold a bridge longer then you need to. Its not necessary to hold a bridge for more then a few minutes. When you hold a bridge on the head for quite some time you're building more then just your neck, you're building strength and flexibility in the spine, legs, neck and importantly the abdominals. When you're holding a bridge on your hands your stretching every part of the body and its strengthening everything in and out of the body as well.
There arn't many courses on the subject of bridging but my friend Logan Christopher much didn't just write a bridging book he brought a whole new meaning to the term Conditioning. You'll learn these types of Bridges......
Head & Hands
Hands Alone
Head Alone
One Legged
Holding/Lifting Weight In a Bridge
Bridging Gymnastics
And More.....

Tumbling To The Top
One of the basic moves in Gymnastics is to learn how to tumble forward, backward, side to side, dives ect. It takes a good amount of balance and strength to do a backhand spring and its harder to do flips. Some of the moves I can do are pretty simple as far as basics go but I can't do a backhand spring, I'm too big of a tree to do that, plus I like falling into a bridge on my head and kicking over and back better. But if you're looking to get better at Tumbling or just starting out theres only one guy I know who can help take you to the top as far as I know and thats Logan Christopher. He's a good friend of mine and as far as I know he's one of the best trainers in the world and this is one of his specialties. Taking you from a basic forward roll to backhand springs he'll help you along the way for you to becoming a master tumbler. He's given me some awesome tips and its helped my bridging and its helped me carry over to things I want to do its that powerful. Learning from some of the biggest names in Physical Culture, he's put ingrediants together to bring the best in putting not only your Tumbling skills to the test but if you make an effort he'll even throw in a few secrets to get your training going a bit quicker. You will learn safety, what to do, not to do and where to have the best alignment to get great results for your tumbling skills. Get into and learn some of the best gymnastics without needing to be a gymnast.

Handstand Video
Hello,
Have you ever thought about learning how to do a handstand?
Well my friend, Logan Christopher, is doing something radical. You see, he runs a site called Lost Art of Hand Balancing where he teaches people how to do just that.
He has taken one of his best-selling DVD's, something that has sold hundreds of copies at $29.95, and he is now literally giving it away online, no strings attached.
I think he’s crazy for doing this, but he is doing it!

What's so great about this video? In this close to half hour video Logan takes a systematic approach to the handstand. The problem with trying to do a handstand is it's way beyond the ability of someone starting out.
You can try to do it but you'll end up frustrated. That's the long slow path. In fact, many give up.
Instead, you should break it down into component parts, working on lead-up stunts, which teach you the necessary skills, but in an easy manageable way. This cuts your learning curve by over half.
Logan has laid this all out in his handstand system, including a sample nine week plan that can take you from zero to holding a freestanding handstand for 30 seconds.
Be warned. This may not be around forever so jump on this chance while you have it. Check it out.

Hand Balancing & The Power Of Inverted Training
However you look at it Handbalancing is by far one of the most difficult methods of self mastery over the human body. When you're upside down it seems like a whole different world and its mysterious and very unusual feeling of not always knowing whats going to happen or how you are suppose to stay up. For the most part it takes awareness and strength to a whole new level and with enough practice you can do things that not only will it amaze people but you will have control over your body not many people in the world can do.
To get a glimpse of modern hand balancing take a look at the men and women of gymnastics or Circ De Solei, the requirement for their sport/profession is to be master hand balancers because of a lot of the stunts require to be on the hands. It is amazing and breathtaking to see some of the best athletes at what they do. I've seen a gymnastic event and seen A Mid-Summer Nightmare which had acts of Hand balancing and tumbling and martial arts and just about every time I saw a scene I was taken back by it by how it it just engulfs your mind on how these people are so strong and coordinated they are. Now not too many of us in our adult years have the luxery of joinging a gymnastics class and becoming a good hand balancer/gymnast so is there a betterr way to learn?
As a matter of fact there is and one guy that I know of has some of the best knowledge on Hand Balancing there is. He is a good friend of mine named Logan Christopher. His background is on Gymnastics, Old-time Strongman, Kettle Bell Instructor, Personal Trainer and is on his way to being one of the strongest men in the world for the thing he performs. I've trained with him and this is no joke he's one of the strongest guys I've ever met and seen him hold some pretty awesome handstands. So its safe to say this guy knows his stuff and anything he just about puts out is a gold star in my book.
Not only is Logan promoting the Art Of Hand Balancing he's helping spread the word about it as some of the best Physical Culturists in the world did many moons ago back in the days of Vaudville and Circus Acts of the early 20th Century. Some of the biggest names did Hand Balancing in their training. Men like Otto Arco, Maxick, Sig Klein, Bob Jones, John Davis, John Grimek, Bert Azzerati, George Hackenschmidt and believe it or not the living legend Jack Lalanne. All these men have done some form of hand balancing and were some of the strongest men in the world before the use of steroids and performance enhancing drugs. That should give you a clear idea of what you can accomplish with pure will, practice, patience and amazing power.
I'm not a Hand Balancing expert but I can tell you from my own experiences its hard and not easy at all (redundent I know) but I have held a handstand for a period of time thats pretty good for a guy my size at well over 235 pounds. So whether you're big, small or inbetween, this form of training can teach you what it truely means to have control over your own body. Even holding a position is pretty darn impressive but when you get to walking on your hands or doing push-ups thats in the realm of dreams and it can be yours if you practice it. Check out Legendary Strength or Lost Art Of Hand baancing websites on the right side of the screen and learn the Lost Art Of Hand Balancing and believe me they are worth every penny many times over.

Lost Art Of Hand Balancing

Legendary Strength On The Rise
I had an opportunity today to train with one of the strongest men pound for pound at his new gym. His name is Logan Christopher. I was checking out the space he had for his gym and its pretty well done considering the finishing touches it needs but it has a serious amount of potential and if anybody can make it work its Logan. I put it in a little work with cables, push-ups, stretching, joint loosening, hammers and a some exercises on the pull-up bar while Logan did some Kettle bell work, weighted pull-ups, Kettle bell Swings, Isometric L-Sits using Chinese Block Weights and other things that came into his head.
We trained for nearly an hour and it was fun and very rewarding. I've been friends with him since 2005 and seen him do some of the most unreal forms of conditioning around, for a guy his size he's extremely strong and he's just going to keep going up. He's seen me in doing some of my first as a strongman myself, my first phonebook ripped, first 60d Penny Nail bend, first fall back into a bridge then kicking over and back ect. He is a really cool guy and he doesn't bring any bull into his training and just hammers the basics while also having.
I first met him while he was a roadie for an upcoming band named Archer which the drummer was a mutual friend of ours. He's really come into his own in becoming a strongman, entrepreneur and a well rounded athlete. If you guys ever read this blog check out my bud's stuff on the banners on the right side of the blog writings. He has vast knowledge in bending, lifting, body weight, gymnastics, strongman, Hand Balancing, tearing, kettle bells and many other forms of strength and conditioning. Taking from some of the best trainers in the world he is one lucky guy and he is one of my inspirations.
