Although it is not specifically intended to cure, Isometrics can in fact heal the body in amazing ways. By healing, it can lower blood pressure due to a specific breathing method and help heal areas of the body that have been plagued by years of pain. I'm not a doctor and I don't intend to drive people away from having their bodies being healed by other means however; you do have other options.
I have been battling with back issues still and i'm not 100% of what my strength & athletic ability normally would be but in a very slow process, I Am getting stronger again in that area of my body. The pain has gone down although it has shifted to my right side but because of Isometrics, I'm getting closer and closer to being completely healed. I do both methods of practice Free-Handed & using the Isometric Power Belt. Because of the issues in my back I have to adjust certain exercises in order to be efficient and not have those spaz moments for example I can do do Deadlift Isometrics & Upright Rows with the belt and can do the Superman Hold Free-Handed but I have major issues with the Back Isometric versions of picking up the leg where you grip the hamstring and do your hardest to pick up the leg, I really feel it in my lower back and feels horrible. You make due with what you can and as you get stronger, start adding in certain other exercises.
I have used Isometrics in the past to heal my legs and even helped my shoulders after hurting them doing too much of the deck of cards workout of Squats & Push-ups. I got a little carried away and hurt myself but I wasn't going to let that stop me from training. I'm also getting ideas in my head where because of my back and not being able to do the animal exercises the way I really want to, think it is time to do those exercises in Isometric Fashion instead of being so explosive normally. Using other methods for movement & mobility such as DDP Yoga or MovNat, Isometrics are the best thing for me to really do at the moment until I heal or VRT Type method.
As we get older, we do have to adjust our training. Don't get me wrong, I plan on doing some crazy stuff still by the time i'm 40 and beyond and have seen first hand the crazy things guys in their 50's can do. It is important however to balance out the crazy stuff with keeping yourself healthy and pain-free as possible. Isometrics are one of the safest if not the safest form of strength training when it is properly applied; you're not damaging the joints, you're developing your structure with powerful exercises that can be done at practically any angle and it is one of the fastest methods to burn fat and build sculpted muscle. I never want to stop training and if it means using other methods to be as injury-proof as possible more than ever, so be it. You never stop learning and you never stop finding the best ways to keep yourself in shape beyond your years. Too many people just flat out stop training because they can't do what they use to or they don't have what it takes anymore, there's always something you can do.
Learn the power of Isometrics and make it a part of your life, it could very well save it and give you strength other methods can't even reach. Keep your joints safe and value the power of self-healing.

Taking On Energy To Gain The Greatest Strength And Harnessing Its Power
When you practice certain methods, you take on different sides of yourself and learn the energy you feel as you go through that practice. With the ideals of CoreForce Energy, you will enhance your natural strength & power by utilizing certain breathing techniques, imagination and movements that not only make you move more organically but develop a greater sense of body language that is unique and gives your personality another realm of confidence and self-mastery.
I have recently gotten back into practicing CoreForce to help my back and get my strength back to the level that made me who I Am. Currently I've been implementing what are called Zeus Spheres where you project powerful energy around you in your imagination to create great strength and organic movement to enhance your performance. It sounds mystical and a little goofy to think about but I assure you on my grandfather's ashes in a Washington pond it is NOT hokey whatsoever. As you learn to use this technique, it could literally change your entire physicality and mindset on being as strong and flowing as possible and you will have a new sense of power both inside and out.
It is by far the most unique way to strength train and it'll help you develop a mindset to any exercise you want to master. I should mention it's not going to turn you into Superman and lift 1000 lbs. off the bat but you will move better, think more clearly, develop greater posture and increase your strength by as much as 2-3% or more. Even if you could have strength 1% higher would you want to find out how you can do that? Any athlete, average joe or weekend warrior would kill to have that.
It is worth EVERY single penny and more to have this method in your arsenal. I have been personally taught by the man who created it himself Garin Bader and I was stronger in one session than during any other workout at that time and off and on I always went back to it to make myself stronger and faster for anything that suited me or was in need of me. Garin is one of the most intelligent guys on the planet and will show you in the most simple terms how to apply this method in any area of your life. It has changed my outlook on strength since I first started on it and it broke through the toughest glass of my mind when I met him. You will not regret it.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE

Why Breathing Is Crucial To Doing Isometrics
You go to the gym and you learn specific exercises for specific areas of the body right? Now you also learn the breathing patterns of those exercises. The truth is, you learn to breathe for a reason but not every single exercise has a full on corrective way to breathe because once you start going heavier or faster during an exercise it doesn't matter, you're going to breathe differently. To me, you learn the correct way to breathe by utilizing intuitive matters of naturally breathing. Take the push-up for example; breathing is simple, you inhale going down, exhaling up right? That's one way to breathe, now go a little slower, are you going to breathe in and out the same way? No unless you can hold your breath like a freaking swimmer then maybe.
When it comes to Isometrics, there are specific breathing patterns and timing those patterns in order to prevent injury; this is very different than if you were to move using weights or bodyweight exercise. Your breathing through isometric exercise can determined a cause of injury or worse. The biggest lie about Isometric Breathing is being told to hold the breath because who does that the most? Bodybuilders. They squeeze every muscle on stage and so damn hard it looks like something is going to burst and more often than not, something has. Holding the breath while flexing a muscle can be seriously dangerous to your health and well being. Say you squeeze a gripper really hard and you hold your breath as you do so; a few things can seriously injure you such as breaking a rib, a busted abdomen, high blood pressure, snapped tendon, torn muscles and many other things. So how do you breathe during Isometric holds?
When I rediscovered isometrics in my early 20's, I was taught to breathe using what's called the "SSS" sound, now why do that? In simple terms, this breathing technique can relieve high blood pressure, create more stable contractions so you don't get injured and it creates a better surge of strength. When you're holding the breath as you flex as hard as hard as possible you're actually decreasing strength in a way in the functional sense because when this happens, your organs have to do far more work to help pump blood and infuse the muscle fibers than they're use to. With exhale breathing using this specific technique you're generating greater strength and infusing the muscles and tendons without overworking the organs to compensate. I don't know the exact science behind this and it's never truly proven but I do have experiences and the correct breathing can save your life.
Appropriate applied Isometric contractions with the breathing technique can help decrease fat by a large margin, not injure muscles or tendons but actually strengthen them, develop a leaner physique and not heavy bulk plus you're saving a shit ton of time on training. Isometrics are a phenomenal addition to your training regimen as they strengthen weak points, develop muscle control so when you do something strenuous, you can contract muscles needed on command and it aids in endurance. Be safe and don't get brain damage or pop a ligament from improper breathing.

Wakes You Up Energized After Sleeping Like a Log (Albizia is BACK in Stock!)
Are you struggling with sleep?
When you're not getting the right kind of sleep it messes you up.
Just one bad night's sleep can stress you out, make you cranky and stir up a conflict that could have totally been avoidable.
What's worse is that when your sleep is bad on the regular, it begins to have grave negative effects on your health.
Chronic sleep disorders like insomnia lead to:
· Messing with your hormones (low T, anyone?)
· Mood disorders ("blowing up" and getting mad for no good reason)
· Depression
· Anxiousness
· Stress (which is a huge cause of heart disease)
· And much much more
If you're like many Americans with a sleeping disorder then you might have tried drugs to pass out.
You may have even taken more extreme measures like drinking yourself to sleep. I have heard of too many people who have done that.
Well, today I want to tell you about an herb that can help with all of this.
This herb helps calm your mind, so you can fall into a DEEP sleep.
What's key about this is that when you get DEEP sleep, you can wake up ENERGIZED. It rebalances your mind so you can think clearly... and get ready to TACKLE your day.
What's this herb? Albizia.

Albizia is like the opposite of caffeine. Caffeine blocks the receptors that make you relax so that you can GO and feel energized.
Instead, Albizia BLOCKS the receptors in your brain that make you stressed... giving you a calming effect so you can let go, relax and finally fall asleep!
My favorite part is that the effects are almost immediate. When I took it, within hours I felt my body relax. And my employees who got samples noticed a very similar effect.
This herb is so popular that the original release sold it out on the 1st day!!!
Now it is back and ready for the people who had missed it the 1st time.
Until Monday evening you can pick some up HERE for only $15.99 (regular price of $19.99).
If you want to upgrade your sleep, Albizia is the herb for you.
Rooting for your sleep.

Free Hand Isometrics To Burn Fat And Build Natural Muscle Density
Although it isn't new, Isometrics has had a long and rich history for being a top of the food chain method for developing muscle and burning fat really fast. Often times however, it can get a bad rap especially by those who never truly practiced it or only read of the negative side of them. It isn't a end-all-be-all method by any stretch but it is an essential element to devour unwanted fat and develop dense muscle that can go a long way in terms of not only physical strength but sculpted muscle as well.
To sum it up, Isometrics means you're holding a position without movement yet activating muscle fibers through hard muscular flexing; this can mean muscle control, pushing/pulling against an immovable object, resisting muscle against muscle and other sorts. There are literally dozens of ways to use isometrics but my two favorites are free-handed (pitting muscle against muscle) & using the Isometric Power Belt. The Free-Handed method is the topic of today's article.
Using nothing but your own resistance is a sure fire of owning the mind/muscle connection and learning to harness strength in just about any position possible. In the book Isometric Power Revolution, it teaches what are called CIC's (Classic Isometric Contraction) where you resist a muscle against another in a variety of positions (1-3 per muscle group) and you contract that particular muscle (Biceps, Chest, Legs ect.) as hard as possible for 7-10 seconds then rest for a period and do another contraction in a different position and so on and so forth. Practicing this method works very well and for good reason. This is the purest method of exercise where isolating a muscle is very effective and doesn't wear and tear on joints & ligaments.
When you squeeze and relax the muscles through this method, you're creating fresh oxygenated blood into your body that hits the fast-twitch muscle fibers to generate greater density in the muscles. It isn't bodybuilding where you make the muscle as big as possible through an exercise, it is where you develop a hardness in the muscles where they can become denser meaning tougher and naturally muscular. You can create any type of isometric workout with this method anytime and anywhere and it doesn't take more than 20 min to get the job done.
The ideal of isometrics is doing that "last rep 1st", by tensing very hard for only a few seconds. If you want you can even simmer down the intensity and hold/flex a muscle at a lower percentage of strength for 30 seconds or longer. This is called Aerobic Isometrics where you hit positions at lower intensity for longer periods of time, say you did a wall sit for 7 seconds at 70-80% of your strength, now do the same wall sit for about 30-50% and hold for a minute; same exercise but different levels of contraction. A method of this caliber is great for those in sports such as wrestling, baseball, hockey and football where you hold positions to create strength in that area for your sport. Think about it, the strength you can have by pressing or pulling back your throwing arm in various positions where you can throw faster and have greater range, for wrestling your strength in pinning positions or throwing your opponent will skyrocket when you position yourself and do isometric contractions. Dan Gable did Isometrics throughout his career and look at the statistics, you'll be amazed.
When you do isometrics and you put in great effort of the contractions, its killing the unwanted fat by turning it into energy and getting powerful blood into the bloodstream to create heavier muscle to obliterate that fat. It sounds confusing I know trust me but the amount of fat that is burned is insane when you do this kind of training and the type of positions you put yourselves in hits muscles you didn't even know can be felt and when you have fat around a certain area, you can transition that mighty muscle and melt fat like butter on a hot plate. Isometrics alone however are NOT the answer to a complete program, they're an addition to a regular routine or can be done on off days to help you stay active. You do't even need to do them all at once, do a few throughout the day and think of the calories you're burning when you're doing isometrics in that day. You can do them at the grocery store, at a stop light, on a bench at the park, in your hotel room, on an airplane, even at Disneyland as you wait in line for a ride.
There is no excuse for not finding time to exercise, you have all you need in your own body, the rest is up to you for what equipment you use. Make time; before work, before bed, during your break or a few minutes after you get home; make it WORK FOR YOU!!! Do Isometrics, it works wonders beyond imagination.

The Benefits Of Being Your Own Personal Trainer
Nobody knows your body better than you and for good reason; you're you and everything is through a series of means to learn how your body works on an outside source. Not to say its good to learn from others and do exercises, playouts and programs but in the end, it comes down to YOU and what you want out of it.
I've done playouts with plenty of people and they showed me a thing or two but yet many exercises I learned, I applied by observing and paying attention to detail in order for it to work for me. Yes its awesome to train people and I always enjoyed that but when I did, all I ever truly did was show them certain aspects of technique and let them handle it the rest of the way. Back in College when I was given permission to train a functional fitness class once a week, I showed people from 18-60 how to do Animal Exercises from complete beginner to advanced and gave them the chance to do the exercise the way it could work for them, not even going through too much of a technique just being simple and letting them have fun.
You can learn all the exercises you want but if any don't apply to your way of movement and your body doesn't have proper leverage for your structure, its not going to go well trust me. Certain exercises are not meant for everyone and that is ok, do what gives you the best benefit and leaves you feeling awesome about it. Due to previous injuries on my legs and ankles, I can't do certain explosive type movements or in this case Plyometrics to a high level so I have to adjust to how my body reacts and instinctively, do things that work well for my body and my mind in order to bring a level of fitness that's suitable.
Not everyone is going to have the perfect squat or push-up or curl or whatever; its because the way their body is structure through a specific movement that may not have the greatest technique but it doesn't injure them either. I do curls a weird way, I deadlift a certain way and do Hindu Squats differently regarding foot placement and the way my back naturally is geared to in the squat. You learn as you practice and finding out the best way to handle exercises so you don't get hurt. A 150 lb. Gymnast isn't going to have the same exact technique for handling pull-ups as a 170 lb. Calisthenics Practitioner, they're built differently and their bodies handle things in a different manner so who's to say one is stronger than the other or has better technique.
Throughout the right side of this blog are many courses you can learn and apply to your own structure and get fit using your own style based on what works and what doesn't. If it doesn't work for you than move on to something else until you have found the golden goose for your way of training. Practice your best exercises and become your own trainer. Here are some benefits to know of this application.....
You get to use your brain more by applying techniques and learning how your body reacts.
Nobody can tell you what to do and if you're doing it wrong. If you're doing it wrong your body will tell you.
Create your own playouts through your own set of goals.
It teaches you how to construct the min/muscle connection as being self-reliant and learning who you are.
Applying what works best for you and not what others tell you to do.
Taking bits and pieces of whatever you learned and developing your own style.
Creating what you want and knowing the ins and outs of how your body works to your advantage.
That's just the tip of the iceberg and plenty more you can learn. Be you and practice what brings you the most benefit and never stop learning.

I don’t know about you, but when I first heard those two names I immediately thought I need to have whatever they refer to.
There’s a certain Ayurvedic supplement that has earned multiple names and reputations for GOOD REASON!
One of those is Indian V----- (I’m hoping you can fill in the blanks because if I write that word this email would probably be in your spam folder. If you need a hint it is a little pill prescribed by doctors for old men who need help getting it up.)
This supplement is more properly known as Shilajit.
Shilajit is an amazing substance that does many things. It first and foremost can be thought of as anti-aging.
One of the many things it does is help the mitochondria, the powerhouses of your cells, to work better.
Another thing it does is supply trace minerals to your body.
In all of these cases, it helps to restore proper functioning of the human body, or halting or slowing its breakdown in the first place thus helping increase overall performance physically and mentally.
When it comes to THAT problem, well that’s a sign of lack of health not just there but elsewhere in the body.
Shilajit goes to the root issues and is not just a temporary quick-fix its a lifestyle while it is working in the background changing your cells and affecting your health for the better.
And that, my friends, is how it earned that nickname.

The Animalistic Physique
Strength comes in all shapes and sizes and so does a physique. It's never easy to obtain the body we always dreamed of and more often than not, it becomes too much of an obsession than a goal to achieve. I personally feel that a body should only look as though it gives off strong vibes and it doesn't always have to be through the bodybuilder type. Certain athletes and other individuals have certain bodies that they have obtained through various styles of training.
Vanity isn't always the most pleasing to me and never wanted to settle looking like a greek god because quite frankly, not all greek god physiques are that strong in this day and age. In all my years, nothing came close to having an animalistic physique that gave you the impression of not only strength but incredible conditioning to go along with it.
When I talk about an Animalistic Physique, i'm talking of those that practice movements based on the ideal of wild animals and building mass or a more sinewy look that just screams fit. Combining elements of bodyweight exercise and animal movement patterns take on a level of exercise that is unique n the sense where the more muscles used in a movement, the greater your fat is burning like a furnace, strength in awkward positions, powerful functional muscle appears and a stronger core. My style is based on Primates and combining various bodyweight movements that creates a whole in a repertoire that not only makes me happy but have a better creative mindset. I'm not talking just movements like an ape but utilizing the pull-up bar to get in all sorts of pulling movements and holds that stretch, strengthen and harmonize the tendons and ligaments of the hands, wrists, forearms, shoulders and back/core.
Even at 250+ lbs. I can do multiple pull-ups in various grips and hanging for periods of time has helped my strength in a great way. Due to my lower back issues, I haven't been as strong as usual but thanks to the Primate Movements & Holds, I have maintained flexibility and strength in my back that I couldn't have done with anything else. My back I feel is the most muscular out of all the other areas of my body but not just muscular but incredibly strong and flexible as well; even though i'm going through a rough patch in my low back, I can still do some cool stuff just not at 100%.
I'm saying this because when you develop and adopt the animal movement style, it changes your body in a unique way, creates spatial awareness and builds on your abilities to move in directions you normally don't do. You enhance the abilities to understand where you are, how you apply the hand placements and the control of the patterns you perform. The more you practice it, the greater your physique will be; it won't turn you into a bloated bodybuilder or have that unrealistic outlook of a V shaped torso but it can create a stronger core, build muscular arms that have all show and go, legs that are explosive and grip power unlike anything else.
You are an animal, act like it. For more info on Animal Exercise, go to the right of this blog and click on the pics of the Gorilla, Puma & Mandrill (Baboon).

The Superhero The World Needed But Was Taken WAY Too Soon
This is one of those very difficult articles to write but it's something I felt the need to do. Yesterday afternoon, a young man barely 21 years old had his life taken away in a tragic motorcycle accident. His name was Noah Jeffries; the name may sound familiar in the strongman world because he was the son of Bud Jeffries. Nothing can be truly said of this horrific event of what has brought on this beautiful, amazing and very strong (in and out) family.
I had the humble opportunity to have met this one and a million young strength prodigy in the middle of 2011 at a strength seminar in San Jose, California. Just from the first glimpse of seeing him, you knew there was something extraordinary. From a physical stand-point, he was and always will be, one of the strongest kids I had ever witness. He was around 15 at this time and the things he could do with weights, steel bars and other aspects of strength were just surreal. He was doing things no child that age should be able to pull off and he was already taking the world by storm in our circle. The first time I shook his hand, he called me Sir LOL; no kid before or since has ever called me that and I was blown away by that to this day. He was humble, quiet but very happy and upbeat.
When I read the news on him, my heart just broke, this was a young man that had so much left to give in this world and he was I believe and stand firm by it, he was the strongest kid of his generation, bar none. This was the son of one of my dearest and most amazing friends and I can't help but feel not only saddened but just beaten down. It was like losing a little brother and a piece of you died with him. He was a man among men and had a fearlessness that was so unique and so powerful it makes you wonder how in the bloody hell can a kid that age be like this. He was raised by one o the strongest men on this planet and it is just so shameful that someone of this magnitude can be taken so soon.
He truly was a real life superhero with powers inside and out that no one of any age can match. He wasn't just a humble strongman either, he had one of the sharpest eyes for shooting me and others had ever seen. I kid you not, this human being was able to shoot quarters, pills and other objects in the air, it was beyond just trick shots, he had a legit eye for being to shoot from anywhere he wanted. His humbleness was second to none but if you messed with him, he had the potential to break you and you would remember it for life. He even had a mighty stint as a Jujitsu practitioner which made him even more dangerous in addition to his strength and keen eye shooting, he literally could've been a James Bond type beast with a smile that just made you like him right away.
He is and always will be a hero of mine and is loved by all that knew him and to his parents Bud & Heather, you are loved beyond recognition and your son made an impact that will never be forgotten. Wherever he is, I want the world to know that Noah was an amazing & powerful human being that wasn't meant to leave so soon. Rest in peace my friend, I will miss you everyday. It was an honor and an amazing privilege to have met you and to be a proud man to have at one time shake your hand.

The Herbal Answer For Men! Energy, Stamina, Health…
Just put together the ultimate man package! And today until Monday, October 9th at midnight it is an extra $5 OFF
We're just gonna call this the ROCKSTAR BUNDLE.
An ideal combination for any man Over 30!
In modern times we sit susceptible to many factors that affect our hormones and in return affect our bodies, our health, our energy, our well-being and even our own happiness.
When it comes to working with hormones, a multi-prong approach is often best. This is because the symphony of hormones within our body is very complex. Even the best hormone experts probably understand maybe 1/10th of how it all works.
It didn't take rocket science that we needed to pair these three top herbal extracts together and create the 3TB.
What are some benefits of taking the natural path to optimal health?
Lets cut to the chase…
Pine Pollen Tincture
Pine pollen is the lead singer and guitarist of this power trio. Loaded with bioavailable phyto-androgens this extract is directly boosting to the male sex hormones. This supplies T, DHEA and other hormones (the same exact ones that humans have), along with novel plant sterols.
This tincture has the ability to boost, balance and promote normal activity within the body.
… Next, comes the right-hand man
Nettle Root Spagyric Tincture
Nettle root is on the bass. This is the yin to pine pollen's yang. Nettle root works with enzymes such as aromatase, 5-alpha reductase, that can support the androgenic hormones. Not directly boosting, this is more support and maintenance thus helping keep as much free T as possible for use within the body.
This is a full spectrum nettle root extract Wildcrafted and Spagyrically Prepared Nettle Root from pristine areas of Oregon.
Ashwagandha Spagyric Tincture
Ashwagandha is on the drums. One of its many great effects is how it helps normalize cortisol, the "stress hormone."
If cortisol is too high, if your body is under too much stress, physical or mental, you can kiss your chances of optimal hormone health goodbye.
Ashwagandha is known to support the hormones, primarily through this action and this is an action neither of the other two has.
Stabilize one of the root issues of what may throw off your hormones in the first place, and everything else will work better.
Also known to:
Support the Immune System
Reduce the Effects of Too Much Stress
Helps Normalize Blood Pressure
And much more.
There is a good chance that this package or even one of these herbs individually can benefit you greatly.
I suggest taking a peep at the single product pages for an even deeper spiritual, historical, and scientific dive into these tinctures extracts one by one and grab the match for you...but if you order before Monday you can save an extra $5 OFF the regular price. (No Coupon Needed)
$5 bucks is $5 bucks... PLUS we have our 1 Year Money-Back Guarantee. YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE :)

Why Walking Running And Hanging Like A Primate Is Beneficial
Systematic exercise is the typical norm of modern day fitness; you do this many reps for strength/endurance, you go at this speed to burn fat, you run this many miles to determine if you're in shape and so on and so forth. Everything is planned out, you have your machines, weights and all sorts of things at your disposal, hell even bodyweight exercise has a ball point system of carefully planned pre-noted exercises like push-ups, squats, sit-ups and various pull-ups. There's nothing wrong with wanting to get in shape for various purposes and with the right kind of training you can increase hormones and enhance brain activity which is always a good thing. Now what I'm about o tell you goes beyond all this.
You see, I was never fond of predetermined routines that had do this and that; not that I don't love a good circuit or do 500 Squats when I have the opportunity but I feel like if I step out of that and went a completely different direction where reps aren't relied on and you can do things for as long as you want or as short as you want and get something out of it either way, that's where I turn to the unorthodox style of Primate Training/Conditioning. I feel it's just as beneficial if not more so than a full on narrow systematic approach.
It's not truly "exercising" like a primate, it's basically mimicking animals, that's it. Nothing more than just learning movements and holds that resemble an animal's behavior. The primates in general are our closest animal relative, humans are considered primates in a scientific sense. Now why is this method beneficial? It does far more than just playing and making weird sounds or a gorilla or a chimp; it's reinventing or studying through our own physiology in order to take on the body's capabilities in a very unique and very primitive way. Yes it's true, we can't exactly mimic every primate's movement patterns for obvious reasons but it shouldn't prevent us from finding a suitable adaptation to basic and even tough ways to move our bodies similar to a simian.
Moving like a primate in various ways, opens up channels of the body that releases a natural satisfaction of being free and learning to use the body unlike the normal fitness crazes. Walking like a chimp can be very silly looking but on a deeper and much more open minded outlook, it can lead to healing shoulders, enhance leg conditioning and more. Moving like a gorilla or bonobo or orangutan can strengthen the fingers to a degree even greater than fingertip push-ups; unlike FTP where you go up and down using all ten fingers down to one and all the variations you can do, try doing the same exact principle when walking like an ape. You're going in all different directions and you need a sense of balance that is very unique, I have done this with different movements of apes and only a couple are very easy to do, I have walked on my fists, my knuckles, my fingertips, my thumbs alone and even did them going backwards and have developed strong hands because of them.
Hanging is by far one of the most beneficial exercises or holds of all-time and for good reason; when you hang from various grips, you're not just hanging on (which in itself is difficult for most people) you're lengthening the torso, stretching the back in it's natural position, building the core muscles in a very powerful way and increasing strength in the tendons and ligaments. It's a bit of an irony when there are people who can do quite a few pull-ups but if you ask them to just hang there, chances are they won't last more than a few seconds. If you can't hang, you shouldn't be doing pull-ups period. Hanging alone can help alleviate back pain, open up the shoulders, gain flexibility in the obliques and give you grip strength that is natural & functional.
Make Primate training a part of your daily lives, don't just do it for a particular workout/playout, do it throughout the day in small segments, if you have sat too long, get deep into the squat position and put your palms on the floor, if you can't then do what you can. If you're a complete and utter beginner, practice what is possible for you and build from there. I didn't start out being fast or able to hang for a solid period of time, hell even at 250+ lbs. its still a challenge at times but make it fun and work for you. Be a primate, it's in your blood.
To learn the top movements and hold for primate get Animal Kingdom Conditioning I & II, want your child to build that kind of strength; get Wild Animal Fitness For Kids. These courses by themselves can give you a lifetime of practice and having the adventure of a lifetime.

Wake Up ENERGIZED!
How was your sleep last night?
Did you get a solid 8 hours of rest?
When you woke up did you feel awake, energized and ready to tackle the day?
If you’re like many men over 40 then you probably had a rough night and had trouble falling asleep and getting out of bed.
Why does this happen to us?
Why can’t we just wake up feeling refreshed?
Being the health nut that I am I’ve been learning to hack my sleep for years.
What I’ve discovered is that the #1 factor that ruins sleep is…
STRESS.
Yup.
When I don’t exercise multiple times a week my mind begins going crazy… I stress over little details, my mind doesn’t shut up and I lose sleep over it.
I have trouble falling asleep. When I do fall asleep, I wake up several times during the night. And finally, when my alarm goes off it becomes impossible to get up!
So what’s a guy supposed to do when he doesn’t have time to work out often and needs to relax and get a DEEP good night’s sleep?
You can get drunk and pass out. There are drugs out there that will knock you out (legal and illegal).
But none of these solutions are sustainable.
Recently I was talking with one of my herb suppliers and he introduced me to a really interesting herb, Albizia.
Turns out this herb is a natural sedative. In Chinese medicine it’s called the “Tree of Happiness” and it’s been used for literally thousands of years (the first documentation of it was in the 2nd C).
After looking at studies I found that albizia helps with:
· Sleeping disorders (like insomnia). So you can finally get a good night’s sleep.
· It induces peaceful feelings by regulating your mood. It does this by blocking your brain’s anxiety-inducing receptors. This is key for stressful times. Can be used during the day or at night.
· Fights depression. This is literally a natural antidepressant.
The best part? Little to no side effects were found and can be used safely for prolonged periods of time (for months).
So if you ever need a good night’s sleep, and want to wake up the next day ENERGIZED, then I highly recommend picking up albizia HERE.
Since this is a brand new product for us, for the next week ONLY you can get albizia for just $15.99… instead of $19.99!
Rooting for your sleep!
P.S If you really want to get a kick start for the day, in addition to taking Albzia, grab some Spark to get that extra kick for the energy you've already woken up to, this will help with your focus and a clear pathway to make the day filled with energy, happiness & clarity.

Developing Tarzan Muscle And Conditioning
In the last few weeks or so I've been reading an omnibus book on Tarzan that has stories going as far back as the late 40's to the mid 50's (Talk about CLASSIC) and as far as I'm seeing, these are just insane stories from rescuing slaves to going after his son Boy and leading a tribal army to rescue a chemist. These stories just don't depict the exciting life of Tarzan but show how physically strong and conditioned he is from swimming sprint style, to lifting up certain heavy objects, flying through the jungle on the vines and his endurance to fight as long as it takes. These attributes are what is inspiring to be in that kind of shape.
Now not everyone can be like Tarzan but we can however become very strong and conditioned than the average person. There's a lot of mixed things that happen in life today that brings a complicated style of fitness and educating those wishing to learn it. On one end you have people that are extremely overweight and have issues with eating healthy, finding "time" to exercise and building a foundation that helps them live longer and have a healthier lifestyle, on the other end of that extreme spectrum you have athletes or those who develop physiques that look like cartoon characters that seem to be out of a comic book that have huge muscles or extremely lean muscle that looks "obvious" they're on steroids. In the middle of this there's everyone else but don't have a complete informed outlook of what true fitness is. Because of the overwhelming level of information provided today it can be extremely difficult to find what suits you the best.
This is where I like to provide simple info that doesn't overwhelm a reader or someone who wants to get fit. There are many ways to get fit but many many courses tell what reps build the most muscle and what gives the most endurance and exercises that work for this bodypart and that bodypart plus you have those infomercials that sell basically crap and pass it off as a sparkling entity. The very best training style that has worked for me has been the Animal Exercises; it takes out all the crap of which bodypart and how many times you do it out of the equation and gets down to the nitty gritty of how to move like a wild animal and do it as long as you can and making a fun game out of it.
That's the emphasis of what Tarzan means to becoming strong and powerful, you take certain things and master it and not always through a single spot but by moving and making the most out of those movements to take on life's biggest challenges. You do movements where you learn step by step how to move like a wild beast in the jungle just like Tarzan; he studies the animals, he practices their movement, calls and makes it the very best for his style whether it be friend or foe. You no longer get to just go to the Zoo to watch animals, you get to become that animal. When you move in various directions, speeds and control; you are using muscles that you didn't think existed and forget crunches and sit-ups, practically every animal you learn to move as will force you to use your entire core from the upper abs to the pelvic area in order to stabilize you and protect you from injury because a lot of these exercises are very intense and usually 1st timers of animal workouts don't last the 1st 5 minutes, that's how tough they are.
As you progress through these animal movements, you'll find your body changing by having greater definition, functional strength, greater flexibility and have conditioning that is very unique unlike other programs of regular calisthenics and/or weights. You'll have a set of lungs that will impress people and if you play sports, your opponents will be terrified of your endurance. I was already quite fit when I started to do these almost exclusively but even at that, they kicked my ass big time and it gave me a goal to shoot for. You don't need more than 5 minutes to start and once you get to the advanced versions of these movements, you can go as long as you want however you want. You can make a game out of it, race friends, make it a part of your current regimen or you can use it to enhance your sports training. Tarzan is a symbol of courage & inner/outer strength with incredible endurance and the will to get better as life goes on. I don't workout with animal exercises, I play them and learn the value of making the most out of them because they're fun & exciting and that's what true fitness is about.

The Power Of VRT
The VRT System is a program that provides the increase of muscular hypertrophy quickly without the need of weights, an apparatus or highly dangerous steroids. It has been proven to be very safe and an effective way the entire muscular system the the maximum of the growth phase by causing the muscles to get that "pump" in every muscle group within a period of 20 minutes or less.
Since the 80's it has become quite an impressive system that has been researched and tested by thousands of bodybuilders, pro athletes, world-class lifters and many more around the world in over 30 countries including the US. Over 95% of those who have practiced this system has had an increase in muscular size and tone. Around 1985 there were reports from now the former Soviet Union shown that the trainers there picked up on the VRT System and the Soviet coaches began implementing this system to their athletes such as wrestlers, weightlifters, gymnasts and other Olympic-Level athletes.
The Exercise Physiologists found out some amazing and killer statistics that have shown remarkable increases in muscular development and the techniques applied helped increase other attributes such as speed of movement, strength & even neuromuscular coordination. They also found out that VRT doesn't do any straining to the joints & ligaments no matter how many times these guys performed the technique.
This is a very unique system that in its concept has the extraordinary ability to bring in such an intense pump of the muscles through the rush of the blood to obtain muscular growth. It can be done by practically anybody regardless of age or sex. Think what it would be like to get in an amazing playout within 15 minutes and do it anywhere and anytime you wished. This is the power of how to apply this awesome program and save so much TIME & MONEY it is unimaginable. It is another outlook to what is called Muscle Control where you apply the mind/muscle connection to specific muscle groups and flex & relax in a range of motion. I've applied this technique many times and have increased muscle size to where I have nearly 18 inch arms, a 20 inch or so neck, thick muscular back and a near 48 inch chest at 250 plus pounds. Haven't touched a barbell or dumbbell in over a few years and still managed to develop muscle fast. This system works and can be used for any bodybuilding program and all you need for equipment is your imagination.
Check out this system for yourself and make it your own. You have the power to create anything you want with this system and develop a physique that turns heads and amazes people. Get VRT for only $9 for paperback and $1.99 for Kindle; that's far less than the cost of a monthly membership to a gym and you never have to wait for equipment ever again and you can do this when you get up in the morning walking only a couple feet from your bed, do it at a park, by the lake/ocean or in a hotel near Disneyland. Wherever you go, VRT will always be with you.

Be Able To Do Bodybuilding Anywhere And Anytime
I'm not the biggest fan of modern bodybuilding for a few reasons; one it's not as simplistic as it was in the early 20th century, two there are too many exercises that make people overthink and hinder progress & three because too many drugs have taken over than the love of pure bodybuilding itself. Not everyone is meant to have that kind of lifestyle and it isn't practical to spend so many hours while the general population has a life to live when it comes to family, jobs & paying bills. When something becomes overcomplicated, you're going to really get anywhere.
I'm a firm believer in using simple methods that are not only effective but have a long term positive effect on the body, it is also rejuvenative and and doesn't wear and tear on the joints. Calisthenics are usually ideal in my arsenal of methods and I can never get enough of airope skipping and using the power wheel or doing Isometrics but when it comes down to deep and direct approach to bodybuilding, I go with VRT (Visualized Resistance Training). It is a system that provides pumping the muscles without ever touching weights and you can mimic any machine in the gym anywhere you want. It is without question one of the most powerful methods around and all it takes is flexing a muscle, moving through a range of motion and your imagination; those main three are the foundation. People tend to knock off this system because it has that negative notion of only "pretending to lift weights" ordeal and think the only way to build muscle is by moving weights.
Not everyone can afford a weight set and even moreso, they can't travel with weights on a plane or in their car and it's not ideal to moving weights in a hotel room if you're traveling. Weights can be beneficial for the body in certain ways but you do need specific spots to have them so it is safe for the surrounding environment. VRT takes out all of that where you can imagine lifting a weight and flexing the muscles through a specific range of motion without ever needing the equipment there. You can take VRT anywhere you wish because the only equipment is you and your mind. I have done VRT in a hotel room, at the park, on a plane, riding in the car and even did it at Disneyland (yes it is possible). You can make this system whatever you wish and whatever you can think of, you can make a VRT exercise out of.
Think of it this way; ever heard of the Green Lantern and that mighty Ring of his? If you ever read the comics or watched the disastrous flick with Ryan Reynolds; the ring is a symbol of how to apply imagination and turning it into action. He comes up with all sorts of weird stuff to defend himself and others and whatever he thinks of, the ring creates out of that. That principle is similar to VRT where you imagine something heavy and doesn't have to be a weight or a machine; it could be lifting a car, picking up boulders, doing chest flys with steel chains or whatever you can think of. You have your own Green Lantern Ring and that ring is your imagination & the muscles are the action of that ring. You have the power to be as creative as you wish to be and you control how much tension you create to build the muscles you want.
One of the most well developed human beings on the planet didn't lift weights and all he did was flex his muscles in certain positions of exercise similar to VRT; that man was Bobby Pandour. His physique at the time was extraordinary and was only topped by guys like Otto Arco, Maxick & Eugene Sandow; he was that well built. His body was so well put together it would give today's Physique Contestants a run for their money and this was long before the days of steroids, supplements & exercise machines. Back then the only way to even remotely find a way to lift weights like a barbell and such was in a massive gymnasium in a major town or at a YMCA that provided such luxuries. You couldn't really buy weights at that time and if you did, the most you'd get is maybe a 100-200 lbs. set. Bobby settled only for Muscle Control and his best style of leg training was carrying his brother up flights of stairs. Don't believe me on the possibilities of having a mighty physique by this system, take a look below.
You can develop a body to be proud of and not wear and tear on your joints. Be able to train anywhere you wish and do it in less time than with any other bodybuilding method. Wear whatever you want, do any exercise that your imagination can come up with and have fun developing the mind/muscle connection. Get VRT today for less than the cost of a monthly membership to any gym and never be bored with exercise ever again.

Schisandra Berry Powder RECIPES
Schisandra Berry Tea Recipe #1
1 TB Schisandra Extract
1 Qt. Hot Water
Simply mix and enjoy. Doesn’t get much simpler than this.
Schisandra beautifies the skin. In Chinese medicine, it strengthens your “Wei Chi”, which is the defense chi of your body. It’s the first line of your body’s immune response and much more. As an astringent, it helps to tighten skin and tissues, helping to preserve moisture.
The following recipes contain several more ingredients to give you many more ideas.
Schisandra Berry Tea Recipe #2
1-quart water
3T Schisandra (soaked and drained)
1T goji berries
1T astragalus root
1t orange peel or a couple of pieces
1t fresh ginger root
Simmer the above ingredients in one quart of pure water for no longer than 15 minutes. Strain and drink alone with super sweeteners or allow to cool and blend into a smoothie or iced drink.
Schisandra detoxifies the liver. This is due primarily to antioxidants and lignan components including schizandrin, pregomisin, gomisins, and deoxyschizandrin. In China a drug was created out of Schisandra for this effect.
Schisandra Berry Tea Recipe #3
2 Tbsp Schisandra Berries
2 Tbsp Elderberries (optional)
6 small pieces of licorice root, broken into small pieces
5-6 inch knob of ginger peeled and coarsely chopped
A palmful or two of dried eleuthero
1-2 Tbsp of dried green stevia leaves
1-2 cinnamon sticks, crushed
Combine everything (except for the stevia) in a saucepan and cover with 4 cups of water. Cover and bring to a boil.
Schisandra berry is one of the top adaptogens in the world. Schisandrin B stimulates the expression of heat shock proteins in normal cells which enhances mitochondrial glutathione status, other antioxidant activity and ATP generation. The Russians heavily investigated this and other adaptogens to support their athletes and soldiers.
Fermented Schizandra Berry Tea
One tablespoon of water kefir grains
One quart of water
One cup of sugar
One cup of dried schizandra berries
Two cups of boiled water
Two cups of pomegranate juice (cherry and raspberry juice are great too)
1. Dissolve the sugar in the quart of water. (They recommend heating the water to help dissolve the sugar, but then allow the water to cool before the next step.)
2. Put the water kefir grains in a clean quart jar and pour the cool sugar water over the grains. Let it sit for 24 hours.
3. In the meantime, pour two cups of boiled water over the berries, cover, and let it sit and cool. (They've had no issues letting this sit for 24 hours.)
4. After 24 hours, strain off the water kefir grains to use in another recipe. Set grains aside.
5. In a half gallon jar, combine the sugar water, steeped berries with liquid, and the pomegranate juice or juice of your choice.
6. Cover with a tea towel and let it ferment until it reaches your desired sweetness.
Combining the benefits of schisandra along with the benefits or a fermented drink. Sounds great.
Schisandra is a great aphrodisiac. It’s not what many people think of, like other herbs such as tongkat ali and cistanche, but helps increase circulation, lubrication, sensitivity as well as libido for both men and women.
Schisandra Berry Smoothie
2-3 Tablespoons of Schisandra Berry Syrup
2 cups Strawberries or Mixed Berries
Vitamin C Powder ( 1000 mg. dose – I used ⅛ tsp.)
1½ cups of Homemade Yogurt, Coconut Yogurt or Coconut Milk
2-3 Tablespoons Coconut Oil, melted Pinch of Sea Salt
2-3 Tablespoons of Gelatin (cold soluble)
Schisandra Juice
In Asia, it is common to infuse schisandra into other fruit juices. If you had fresh berries you could juice them but it wouldn’t be something you drink a lot of. But a little bit added to other juices can be great tasting and highly beneficial.
1 tsp to 1 TB schisandra berries or extract
1 cup to 1 gallon of dark fruit juice (They recommend tart cherry juice for its many benefits)
Allow to soak for a day. Strain and drink.
A whole book could be written on the benefits of this amazing herb. Because it contains all five flavors, which is a rare thing for one food to have, it enters all 12 meridians in the human body, and nourishes the five elements, water, wood, fire, earth and metal. In addition, it contains all three treasures, Jing, Qi and Shen, all in one place.
With all these options and recipes, you should give this organically grown schisandra berry extract a shot.

THE Superfood That Will Enhance Natural Balance In The Body
It gets old, right?
You lead a busy life. You have responsibilities to your family, your job…
But when was the last time you thought about your responsibility to your body?
Now, if you think the dusty old duties of eating right and exercising are all you need, you are DEAD WRONG.
Recent science proves you've got one HUGE new health duty you (and millions of others) are ignoring...
It's a silent new health disaster caused by modern food and drug industries that NO amount of exercise and healthy eating can cure...
Combating Hormone Imbalance isn't impossible...
Specifically - a little-discussed growing epidemic called Estrogen Dominance...
Not sure Estrogen Dominance is that big a deal?
Well let me ask you this:
Did you know BOTH women's AND men's bodies already produce both Estrogen and Testosterone naturally?
It's true! Everybody needs and produces a bit of both - and maintaining the delicate balance of Estrogen to Testosterone in our individual bodies used to be so easy no one even noticed it...
...it has become increasingly difficult for both men and women to avoid estrogen dominance, and the side effects to your health are extreme.
There is something that can help….
…. Chinese herbalists have been taking advantage of its infinite benefits for thousands of years….
….It’s called Pine Pollen.
The secret behind Pine Pollen is the Phyto-androgens it contains.
Phyto-androgens stimulate testosterone. They work to support the optimization of hormones within our body by balancing out that excess estrogen that we’re bombarded with.
The balance of hormones directly affects how our bodies function. Good balance translates into energy, weight control, sexual vigor, youthful appearance, recovery from daily stress and physical activity and overall sense of well- being.
Imbalance leads to fatigue, sleep disturbance, sexual dysfunction, depression, impaired immune function, chronic illnesses, disease, and ultimately, early death.
Why wouldn't we want to take something that could by far- have amazing health benefits inside and out? Especially with a 365 Day Money Back Guarantee.
Instead of shelling out thousands for painful, unsure, and time-consuming hormone replacement therapies created and administered by the very industry that helped cause this Estrogen Dominance epidemic in the first place, why not get back to basics and go for a purely natural, gentle yet effective, centuries-proven solution? You have a responsibility to yourself and your loved ones to maintain your health fully. Don't let your Estrogen Dominant imbalance become impossible to fix!

Building A Strong Foundation For Great Posture
Having good posture has a certain presence to it. You don't have to be a pompous jerk or look down at someone in order to have good posture but it is important to have muscles that give you that solid look that grabs people's attention. Great posture is built on having a strong core and a mighty back with the shoulders pulled back and having the chest up.
How you breathe determines your posture as well, some people breathe through their chest, others through their diaphragm, i'm thinking why not do both and master them so when the occasion calls for it you know how to apply them. Some people actually believe diaphragmatic breathing makes a person lazy and weak while the chest breathing makes them super strong, for me that's a crock because from the diaphragm, it is a natural instinct that we as humans have had since we were born. How can you ever say something natural is an automatic outlook of weakness? There are many ways to breathe incorrectly but there are others that breathe with efficiency and power. Look to Paul Bragg's book on Super Power Breathing For Health on this subject.
An ideal outlook on developing poor or bad posture is how you apply certain exercises and if there's too much or too little of what developes that posture. One thing you don't want to do is do too many exercises that require a ton of pushing that brings out that hunched over look. There are many people that love the bench press and do so much of it that it destroys their ability to have solid posture because the shoulders are too far forward, chest is caved in and looking like a hunchback. Now push-ups, bear crawls, crab walks and Isometric pushing really helps the opposite but it is valuably important to do a great amount of pulling which strengthens the back, powers up the core muscles and pulls back the shoulders. Lately due to more observations on my lower back issue, I instinctively learned to do more specific ab and back training. I do more of my pushing training through animal exercise but at the same time I realized I needed to open up the core and back more using specific equipment to target those areas without isolation. I use the TNT Lifeline Cables for back training doing curls, rows, pulldowns and stretching pulls while using the Power Wheel for strengthening the core muscles. Just after only a few times my posture and lower back have gotten way better.
Muscle Control is another powerful method for developing posture as you apply the flexion and relaxation of the muscles being performed whether individually or as a group. Some of the strongest athletes of the early 20th century had tremendous posture and it helped them live a long life. One of the best was George Hackenshmidt the wrestler and weightlifter from Estonia that lived until the age of 90. He emphasized the application of exercise using the best methods possible that went beyond just strength. Posture is what separates you from the pack.
Make it the best you can and strengthen your body with purpose and health, not just for vanity.

Kettlebells have been a staple for physical strength & conditioning for years now and have been a part of Physical Culture for well over 100 years. There have been different variations of the Kettlebell but never anything like this.
When you have a Bounty Hunter, a Stormtrooper & the greatest villain of them all Darth Vader as the new heads for Kettlebells, it brings out a whole new level of fear in competitors and inspiration to be not only in incredible shape but an added bonus of Bad Assery. These three loathsome figures have been meticulously sculpted and cast in dark black iron to strike fear into the hearts of all in their presence. You will never find a more wretched group of scum and villainy in any gym.
There are plenty of exercises to do with these awesome bells and regardless of your age or sex, they can give you the tools to develop a level of conditioning and physique that would make Luke Skywalker hide in fear just like he did when Rey found him in Episode 7. These bells come in sizes of 50, 60 & 70 lb weights; a bell for every creature in the galaxy.
Pre-Order today and get ready for the battle of your life and hone the power of the darkside in the palm of your hands.

Developing A Thick Bull Neck Without Weights
In sports and in life it is critically important to keep your head on your shoulders yet many neglect to train the area that is attached to the head which is the NECK. The people with thick necks are usually football players & wrestlers and that is because of the full contact blasts they take especially pro wrestlers who get tied up in headlocks, rolling out and even kicking out have to have a strong neck otherwise it could be disastrous. Same thing with football players that tackle head on like fighting bulls, buffalos & rams; they're necks need to be a key factor in winning a fight otherwise you can shatter your spine and be paralyzed from the neck down.
For over 12 years, I have studied, trained & learned various aspects on training the neck. Off and on and a lot more on lately, I have been working on building a strong neck for practically any occasion. I rarely ever touched weights for neck training and that's mostly because most weights or machines isolate only a small portion of the neck in a specific position so unless you need to fix a weak area you don't necessarily need a machine to build a powerful neck. Because of the methods I have practiced, I have developed a thick 20 inch neck without ever touching a single pound.
Some exercises even for bodyweight can be debatable or controversial depending on who you talk to and how certain methods are applied. When I had my very short stint training in high school wrestling I was taught to bridge on the top of my head and because I never heard of the bridge then I didn't know any better. It turns out years later, it wasn't the best type of bridge to do. I really began my style of bridging from learning from Matt Furey's Combat Conditioning Book and applied the more stretching component of bringing the nose to the mat. This was my first taste of learning how to handle my neck in awkward positions and the experience just kept growing. Eventually within a short period of time I was able to hold a bridge for 3 min. with feet flat, arms off the floor and nose touching the mat.
I wanted to learn more on how to make my neck stronger not just from bridging. One of my favorite methods came from Jim Forystek's Book Flexercise where it taught how to build a strong neck using self resistance exercises where you applied pressure to really make the neck work as you went through a movement. It had a specific level of repetitions that you progressed to so you can safely build the neck without straining. I hit level 3 status for those exercises quickly and my neck was getting sculpted but the funny thing was I didn't really care how sculpted my neck looked, only cared about making it stronger, durable and flexible.
The neck is a fist impression of a strong and powerful individual. It doesn't need to be sculpted like a bodybuilder which to me is more counterproductive because most bodybuilders today don't have that strong of a neck. A neck with power shows confidence and gives off a strong vibe that tells a person that is full of vigor and posture. If you have a weak neck, you have a greater chance for injuries and very hunched over. The course that settled it for me to really develop the neck I wanted was none other than Advanced Bridging by Logan Christopher; this alone taught me the true value of neck building and honing a thick bull neck that screams strength. From holding specific positions to rocking gave my neck the fuel it needed to develop size.
If you're interested in learning the deepest aspects of building a thick neck, look for the man with the world's strongest neck Mike Bruce who developed his neck in ways that cannot be matched by anyone. His neck is so strong, he's literally lifted hundreds of pounds while moving his head up and down, has had steel bars bent across his throat and even a horseshoe. This was all done by applying methods he used in wrestling and Martial Arts while utilizing strongman techniques and firmly applied bodyweight style conditioning.
You can apply weights for neck training but you have to be extremely cautious and be safe at all times. The neck is a set of muscles and tendons like everything else but its a lot more delicate than practically any other part of body because its in congruent with the spinal cord and that electric power from the brain to the spinal cord is firmly in the neck. So train with intent, purpose and able to apply with proper technique. There have been countless injuries due to spinal cord breaks and hitting the neck in the wrong spots. One of the most famous is from the injury that put legendary Superman actor Christopher Reeve in a wheelchair until the day he died. Another athlete that had a major neck injury but had someone or something on his side that had pull out of being a vegetable was pro wrestling technician and high flyer TJ Wilson aka Tyson Kidd. He had a match a while back and landed really badly on his head or his neck I can't remember which one and it was so bad he had to be carried out on a stretcher and put in a severe neck brace. The upside to this is that because of his training building that neck, it was so strong it kept him from being in a wheelchair for life or worse killing him.
I'm not trying to get you thinking the worst scenarios but I'am being honest on how important it is to train the neck with proper technique and developing a strong foundation that can help prevent disastrous circumstances. Here are my key ingredients to developing a powerful neck.....
Bridging (Front, Back)
Bridge Rocks (Front, Back, Side To Side)
Self Resistance Movements (Side To Side, Turning Of The Head, Up, Down, Circular)
(Advanced Movements)- Bridging Gymnastics (Kicking Over & Back), Headstand Neck Stretches, Circular Walks In The Bridge, Front Bridge Plank
I personally do the majority of these almost daily alternating a couple exercises. Don't jump into some of these right away, build up to them and progress to advanced variations & exercises. It's not going to happen over night and some of these are extremely difficult especially if you're someone of a heavier size. When I first kicked over in the bridge I was 230+ lbs. and I had to have solid form in order to pull it off, you can be far smaller and kick over with not so good solid form but its vastly important to have the best form possible to safely do this. Build the best neck you can and pay attention to weaknesses & the ability to progress.

How Long Should You Rest Between Sets Of Exercise
This all depends on your goals and what you're trying to accomplish whether it's preparing for competition or overall fitness. Resting can also mean a lot of things; are you sitting down? Are you walking around after a set? Are you active at a lower intensity? Or are you just going non stop?
In my opinion, you should rest as long as needed, not as long or short as someone tells you to. I've been through the 30 seconds rest periods, 2 min., 5 min., 15 sec. and so on and so forth and I have come to the conclusion that if you need to catch your breath then do so and take as much time as you need. When it comes to conditioning, the objective is to keep going and if you're in need of a rest or finished say a circuit, do a lower intensity exercise that is active and keeps you at a solid level of cardio. If you've been hitting it hard with the weights or you have done some rough HIIT than I suggest you rest as long as needed to.
Rest periods for the most part written out by various trainers and fitness enthusiasts make mere suggestions and some are very questionable especially those that have you doing some heavy training but your rest time is way short. I get it, you want them to keep their heart rates at a high level but suggesting a rest period when someone isn't in the shape for that workout and telling them if they're weak or not for how long they rest is ridiculous. I have been through some of the most intense training around and some that are considered beginner, I barely made it and i'm in good shape.
This is where it can be debatable for people and depending where the training is from and who teaches it can be overwhelming. When you're following someone at their pace, at times you won't be able to keep up, doesn't mean you're not in shape, just means you're not meant to. When it comes to programs like DDP Yoga, the objective is to keep going but he does remind you if you need to back off a bit then do so because if you're going harder than you need to, it can cause injury.
You want to be able to recover at an optimum level for you and how do you know if you're resting enough? Is your form at a solid level when you move onto the next exercise or set or is it sloppy? Are you able to go at the pace you've progressed or are you going slower? How are your energy levels? These are the things many don't think about and the reason why that is it's because they were told to only do this and that. The key to learning this is being able to be intuitive and understanding your awareness and the ability to go at a level needed to progress to a greater stage or efficiently in another exercise or set.
I firmly believe in resting until I'm ready for the next set. I've been experimenting with skipping rope or the airope lately where if I get too tired during certain rounds of the animal dice game or I used it as rest between each exercise from the recent Cable workout, I skipped enough to let things go down a bit but at the same time i'm staying active. I rest only enough to where my breathing is good and the lactic acid has died down a bit for me to go hard again. So far this has been working extremely well for me and I have stayed on active rest sometimes shorter to catch my breath and sometimes a little longer to be at a good pace so when I go back, i'm efficient.
Resting is just another word for recovery and if you're able to go through an entire workout without needing recovery time, that's awesome and impressive but if you need to catch your breath and need to move around a bit and recover than do so, don't be afraid to recover. Recovery is just as important as the training itself and if it's not on a balanced level (which can vary an individual) than you need to make it so. Have a foundational ratio and you'll be reaching levels of fitness that are just awesome.
