Finding Things Of Value That Really Matter

Yesterday as I made my way through my workouts that included O2 Training, Joint Loosening, Neck Training, a 1000 Rep Dopa Band Circuit in 36:26 and Isometrics, there are things I continue to learn that hold dear. As the world struggles, we continue to persevere and through those struggles, we learn to value things that are important to us.

It's one thing to overcome another person who has made attempts to discredit you or do just about anything to destroy your spirit and humanity, it's another to overcome yourself. We battle things everyday nobody will ever know or understand unless they've been around you long enough to know your true nature. When you overcome yourself, you find what your true values are and to the people that matter.

We may have enemies whether in our own minds or those that feel the need to be an enemy while they pretend to be some superior being. They're not, they're just another flash in the pan, flesh that isn't worthy of your energy or time and sure as hell don't deserve to be in the company of anyone that might catch their disease of narcissism, racism or psychotic ruthlessness that shows a hopeless and jealous little boy that thinks he's a man.

There are people out there that matter to us and not put them so much on a pedestal, but to honor who they were/are and remember what they mean to us from our memories, the good times, the little moments in time and living the best way to can so we can continue our own journey.

It's high time that you stop putting your energy into those that are of no value to you. Focus on the people that matter, not the ones that tear you down or have become obsessed with you. Let them live in their own hell. For they have stopped being human and became the slime of humanity.

You'll never win to try to change anyone. Only they can change themselves and when they display distasteful bullshit in order to bully and mock others while playing the victim, it opens up new doors to what their true colors are.

They have no moral compass, no honor, no honesty and they live a trash existence while pretending to be some superior entity. Boys trapped in a man's body thinking he's got some power over people when in reality, he is weak, pathetic and unoriginal.

Your energy shouldn't be wasted. It's to preserve and used to encourage others without tearing their spirit apart. The slime will eventually die while those who persevere leave a legacy that gives others hope to rise above and know that assholes don't deserve a legacy and will go on to be destroyed by their own vanity and other dark entities.

Time to let go and time to make something worthwhile while the slime gets cast out sealing their fate into an oblivion. You have value and those that matter to you have value as well. Cherish them, because when they're gone, the only things left is the memories and the stories to tell for generations to come. Keep the slime away that holds no merit to your life and hold onto the precious and pricelessness of those that have lived and still here that give you new found perspective to what your journey evolves into.

Be amazingly awesome and remember that you have great abilities to become something or someone that is valued, loved and can do incredible things in this world, don't let those who want to see you broken win, they've already lost the moment you open the door and walk through it like a fucking boss.

Taking It To New Heights

You my friend are far stronger than you believe. It’s within your DNA to have great strength whether it’s physical, mental, emotional or spiritual but yet you can have all of those if you apply to your goals and admiration. Strength is not always being tough and macho or one upping anyone, real strength comes from your attitude and your character as a human being. Being physically strong has its benefits but it’s the strength of your loving soul that endures more and grows.

When you progress in your training whether for fitness, health, strongman, lecturer or whatever you choose to do, do it at your own pace. People assume when you start a fitness progress it’s push and push as hard as you can when in reality that can get them more set up for injury than to get fit. I understand the feeling of wanting to push someone to do their best but yet you need to let go of that ego trip and be giving and sharing info. Basics are key to training and they lay the foundation but if you’re going to push it, do it when you’re good and ready and at your own level. We all have different bodies, progression levels and strengths/weaknesses, if we were to create the strength we want, it takes time, patience and the will to build from the ground up.

A key note to strength is the value of it. There are a lot of strong men and women in the world but very few know its value and shares compassion and wisdom to how to use that strength. There’s a scene in Captain America: The First Avenger where the doc is sitting with then a small, weak and skinny Steve Rogers and says “A strong man who has known power all his, may lose respect for that power, but a weak man knows the value of strength and that’s compassion.” It’s a very powerful scene and it’s true, if you want to become strong, you must understand the value for which you have built on it.

It’s a lot of fun being strong and fit but it’s more important to use it wisely. I do like to show off every now and then for fun not because of one-upping anybody or make them feel weak, I do it to show how far I've come in my life because in my early years, I was weak, I was feeling like I was unworthy and didn't understand how to do it. I didn't grow up in poverty or anything like that but I was skinny because of what I was taking as a child and once I went off it as a pre-teen I shot up like a cannon with a few years but I became fat and hardly any muscle to call worthy. Ever since I was 18 years old, I made it my mission to become strong with positive and natural intentions. Enough of my bullshit but you get the idea. Becoming strong is a test of your character, where do you go from a certain point? When you develop strength in ways some people either admire or envy, you still make it a habit to use it for something that is bigger than yourself. You become a greater human being with heart and compassion for others. That’s the real fun part.

Fight For What’s Important

If you’re truly committed to something, whether it be training or whatever, fight for it with everything you have because it’s worth making something happen. Some people half-ass it, some barely do anything an others don’t do anything at all but the real one’s who make the commitment go places. It takes practice to find something you want to achieve or have a lifelong goal.

Taking a stand in what you believe in takes guts. In the case of training whatever it might be, if you believe in what you’re doing, no one can tell you right from wrong. Gymnasts bust their ass day in and day out for years and for what, to get a medal around their neck? Not all do this and more power to them if that’s what they want to shoot for but for some it’s much more than that. Many athletes have this same mentality but the difference is how they believe in themselves and in their sport. Michael Jordan is another prime example of believing and taking a stand on what he wanted to do to be better than anyone else.

Your instincts are what separate you from the rest of the pack. Sometimes it’s all you can rely on but another thing to look at is listening to your heart. Your instincts help you be aware but your heart is what you feel and that can mean a lot of things but in the end you’re either going to go after what you want or you won’t. Value what you have but keep challenging yourself. Fighting for a goal makes you stronger and reliant on your instinct to make something happen but also feel it at the same time.

If you value what matters, you’ll fight for it while being smart about it. Fighting for something can only take you so far and eventually you’ll have to rest and rethink. Think about what you’re doing and ask yourself “is this truly what I want?” I value what I have and have fought for what I believe in, not just myself but what I want to do. After my accident, there were times where I thought I wouldn't be able to walk or do the same things again. It became true but I fought back and believed that if I wanted to get stronger, I’d be damn sure find a way to do it. Making things happen puts you in a class very few achieve and the more committed you are mentally, the more you’ll want to shoot for. Fight for what’s important and do it in a way only you can do it.

Just a reminder, there's less than 3 days left of the House Sale Logan Christopher is putting up at Legendary Strength, get on the bandwagon and you'll even find a course that's only $7. Everything is ranging from 20-80% off. Hell of a deal.
